Marc and team here are nothing short of incredible. I proposed to my fiance in Charleston and the team at Zero George (special shout out to Marc again) helped plan an unforgettable experience. The property is stunning and very walkable to all of downtown! The staff here really knows what they are doing and are excellent at their jobs. We will be coming back within a doubt and recommending it to my friends.
Never disappoints! My wife and I recently returned to 0 George. It was our first visit since the pandemic. I really thought back then that they couldn't possibly do a better job, but they have! They added a caviar bar! Staff is always great, rooms are always great, and the location so close to town makes it the only place to stay in Charleston. Huge shout out to Marc! I am confident he has already had several, but he has earned every one of them. Plain and simple, we will be back.
Zero George is an exquisite property with exceptional hospitality. We were greeted with a glass of wine at check-in. Mark, the concierge was very helpful and kind. Our room was beautifully decorated, giving it a cozy and relaxing vibe. Housekeeping did a great job making the room spotless. The hotel is conveniently located and within walking distance to most restaurants, bars and shopping. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you Zero George Team!
This property is one of my favorite properties in Charleston. I am a local, native - my husband and I try to do a staycation every month. While we have not stayed at every property in downtown Charleston, we have stayed at most. Zero is one of our favorites. It is charming, historic, tastefully thought out and the service is impeccable. Everyone is kind, helpful and always smiling. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. This property is a must stay. It is a destination, since it has a restaurant and additional bar on property. It is a nice escape once you’ve finished your sightseeing and shopping a few blocks away. We adore this property - quaint and stylish. Keep in mind, the rooms and restaurants are in historic buildings, so you will be able to hear others in their rooms. With only 16 or so rooms - it has never bothered us but needs to be mentioned. Once you enter the gates, you feel like you are staying in a historic home in Charleston - a with courtyards and lovely landscaping. Their complimentary happy hour wine and cheese and breakfast is definitely generous and delicious - it is not some take and go situation. Whatever you need, the property will go to great lengths to try and accommodate. It is a special place, a treat to enjoy while you are in Charleston.
This is the best and most romantic hotel in Charleston bar none. The breakfast, the bikes, the wine and cheese hour, cooking classes, tasting menu are all first rate. But what puts it above the rest aside from location is how well thought out everything is and how the staff works tirelessly to ensure your stay is best it can be. Rooms are comfy and beautifully designed. The seating areas on the porches outside your room are perfect to read a book. It is just so tranquil and beautiful. Can’t wait to come back.
