The complex that I live at used this company for many years for landscaping and a few other projects. We finally decided to terminate our contract with them which was one of the best decisions we have made. Not only were they wildly overpriced but the job that they did on our lawn was progressively worse each year. We now work with a smaller company who actually cares about the customers they provide service to. Our lawn looks incredible and the price is significantly less. I would strongly advise you to spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere. This business has gotten too big for its britches and has forgotten the fundamental principles that allow a business to thrive in the first place!
In the Cane Bay Plantation, Lindera Preserve, a group of workers in a Yellowstone Landscape utility vehicle appeared to deliberately run over a bag of trash left behind my the waste company amd left a trail of garage all over the road. I appeared deliberate base on the fact that numerous vehicles including large school buses have been navigating around the bag all after noon; additionally, after they ran it over, the driver and passenger stuck their heads out the windows, looked back at me, and laughed as they zoomed away. I can only assume this is commensurate behavior of the merit of this company.
I have worked as a vendor with Yellowstone on many major projects, both businesses and residential. Their staff, particularly the Senior Account Manager Kevin Reed, has always been quick to answer emails and address my concerns. Kevin has gone above and beyond expectations with anticipating issues and working to quickly resolve new ones as they arise. He truly is delivering the Yellowstone promise of Excellence in Commercial Landscaping.
Have no choice in who cuts my yard due to being in an HOA and they chose them, but every time it is something different with them. I’m in a townhome and have a super small yard yet somehow every time they come to cut/weed eat/edge the yard they do something to make it quicker for them. Last time it was not weed eating anything and half the grass was a different height due to them missing spots. This time, not only did they weed eat and get grass all over the house, fence, etc, but they also did not even blow off the yard or patio! Ridiculous that if they are paid to do a yard that if done right takes maybe 15 min, they can’t even take the time or care to do it right. What’s the point of being paid if you’re not going to do the job right?
This company managed our property (at White Gables in Summerville) and constantly took shortcuts such as skipping weedeating/trimming when mowing the lawn. They neglected flowerbeds resulting in dead plants in flowerbeds throughout the neighborhood. They neglected emptying trash cans and dog poo cans leaving a smelly mess for residents. The icing on the cake was that they completely neglected their duties on the last month of their contract as retaliation for losing the contract with White Gables see full picture below.
