Had a not so good experience the first time but management called me and gave a complimentary mani with Lesia and it was amazing! Excellent work! I am very grateful management takes the time to listen to their costumers. 100% recommend this place!

I have been getting manicures for 15 years, and this was the best one yet! Zya took great care of me and made sure every nail was perfect! I’m from DC and will be a customer there when I go back home.

I have been going here for a while now, and I absolutely love this place! It's waterless and the products they use are fairly natural, so the inside of the salon doesn't smell strongly of chemicals like so many other nail salons do. The last time I was in, I had a gel manicure done by Lesia, and I think it's probably the best gel manicure I've ever had. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone. It's a little pricy, but so, so worth it!

This was my first visit. I love this salon; it’s clean and peaceful and the staff is great. I received a Luxe pedi from Patricia (hope I got the name right). The waterless procedure is really good, moisturizing and earth friendly.
I can honestly say this is the best pedicure I’ve had in quite sometime.

After being a new customer to Varnish Lane, Charleston, I will not be returning to the salon. Circumstances occurred leaving me to reschedule my appointment the morning of for a situation out of my control. I proceeded to tell the receptionist (and manager) that I want to reschedule my appointment and she told me that I would be charged half of the cost for the service I would be getting which was a manicure and pedicure. I told the manager, that charging me for this, even though I was rescheduling was ridiculous. After back and forth the manager had to consult with her boss on the situation and proceeded to waive the 50% cost of services they wanted to charge but still charge me gratuity. I understand that cancellations do affect booking however when situations arise that are out of a persons control there needs to be a common ground. For this reason I will not be returning to Varnish Lane and will not be recommending to anyone.
