Had a nice lunch here Friday 5/30.
We were seated quickly The waitress and her trainee were attentive without being intrusive. Beautiful Irish pub. Just what you would expect. I’ve been here before and love the Corned Beef & Cabbage and the Shepherds Pie. This time I had the Fish and Chips. The portion size was generous. The fish was perfectly breaded and fried. The proportion of fish to breading was perfect. The coleslaw was great.
I also had a Melon Sour which was also perfectly made.
Whenever I get to Charleston I stop here for a lunch or dinner and have never been disappointed.

Fish and chips were stellar! Some of the best cod I’ve had in a long time. Perfect batter and the tartar sauce is delicious! I also had a Guinness and some fried green tomatoes. Both were yummy! Our waiter was excellent! He gave us some advice on things to do in town and was extremely helpful throughout the dining experience. You can come back most evenings for live music. There are seats outside on a covered patio, outside along the walk way, and ample indoor seating.

What an awesome authentic downtown Charleston, SC Staple! Such an amazing staff who’s so friendly to locals and traveling visitors, kitchen takes their time making the food super fresh but never makes ya wait too long, very fair prices not jacked up bc they are downtown! The music is always so great…they really get the best local musicians to give you what you want from this classic Charleston Bar! So many great memories here and still going….

This was a first time visit for two of our group of three. While the atmosphere was great along with the live music, the food was very underwhelming. I ordered an orange crush that was less than appealing. The real disappointment was when we received our appetizer and entrees. We ordered the Dublin rolls which sounded amazing. Upon arrival the plating was great and looked very appealing, flavor not so much. While hot and crispy that was the only compliment I can give aside from the plating. The mustard that came on the side was also inside the egg rolls and that's all we could taste. Not a hint of sauerkraut or even the corned beef. Okay a dud, lets talk about the entrees. We all ordered the cheese steak with various sides. My partner received instant grits that weren't cooked all the way, topped with shredded cheese. Our other guest, who has visited before, and myself were surprised to see ramekins of kraft mac and cheese. Although we enjoy kraft, we were expecting more from a seemingly well-rated establishment. The cheesesteaks themselves were pretty sad. The coleslaw looked like it came from a carton and thoroughly lacked flavor other than mayonnaise. Overall I highly recommend the atmosphere and live music but cannot offer the same for the food or mixed drinks.

We had a fantastic time at Tommy Condon’s Irish Pub! Seated at the bar with our 8-year-old, we were immediately welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff. The food was delicious, and the live music created an amazing ambiance that made our visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommend for a great time in Charleston!
