Very welcoming to our family of 5. Definitely the best location in Charleston. Easy to return to the room to drop bags or grab jackets. Saw they had bikes for guests to use, would have been fun but we have toddlers. View was stunning from the roof top. Kids enjoyed the milk and cookies at night. Muffins were delicious on our door each morning.
This hotel is not what it used to be. If looking for a historic establishment with a nod to Charleston’s history, this is not your place. The rooms have been renovated with some of the gaudiest fixtures they could find. The artwork is nice, but not really something that adds value when staying here. The service is great, as it should be when paying downtown prices. The location of this hotel is its best asset. With the opening of newer and nicer establishments nearby, this one will need to keep up if they expect to stay open. I’m a local who rarely goes downtown to avoid the crowds and fight for a parking spot. Next time I’ll probably pick a different hotel nearby.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Vendue. The hotel is very modern, with a fun vibe. The room was spacious. The hotel had some nice amenities like champagne at check in, daily wine in the afternoon and cookies at night. They also delivered pastries to the room every morning. The employees were all very accommodating. The location was great. We would stay again. Their sister location, The Enclave is more subdued and quiet.
Lovely boutique hotel with fabulous art work! The location is perfect to walk to restaurants and sites in the historic french quarter. Service was exceptional from the guest experience managers and valets. Rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated. My husband thought the bed was one of the most comfortable for a hotel - and we have traveled extensively. The Rooftop Bar was enjoyable for happy hour and lunch. Highly recommend and would return!
Everything about the Vendue was top notch! From the check in experience to location, service, communication, everything was perfect. I sprained my ankle the last night of my trip and Danielle delivered a bag of ice to the door and allowed us a late check out. This was my first time at this hotel and I will absolutely recommend it to everyone and stay again my next trip in Charleston!
