Gorgeous hotel right in the middle of everything. Lots of extras like fresh baked goods on the door every morning, mimosas, sherry, and coffee downstairs. Room was quiet and really comfortable. Staff was super helpful and friendly. We loved the rooftop bar across the street and all the art! Highly recommend this hotel. We’ll likely stay here again when we return to Charleston!
The Vendue has a gracious staff, a perfect location, and it has a fun, funky style unlike any other. It is full of exciting, super current art and the decor itself is like a giant work of pop art. The bedding is so comfortable. The amenities are great. It is a really special place to stay in the heart of historic Charleston.
5/8/2025 I had the pleasure in staying in this boutique hotel. The folks here really know how to make you feel like royalty. The location is great , there are a lot of restaurants that are a short walk away. There is wa Wells Fargo bank if you need cash to tip the staff. I truly enjoyed my stay and I would consider staying ever again. They do provide snacks , turn down service and continental breakfast that is delivered to your door. I highly recommend this location.
We just spent the most amazing 2 days here. The hotel staff goes above and beyond in making sure our stay here was perfect. The moment you step through the door you are greeted with a smile and the most fun and interesting artwork! The hotel offered a daily cocktail and art talk from The knowledgeable curator Allison. She is so friendly and happy to share her selection process and what she knows of each artist. The hotel is perfectly located to walk everywhere in the tourist district , including the waterfront park a block away. The nuts and bolts- Charleston is not a great place to visit if you are in anyway walking impaired. The sidewalks are simply too uneven. Parking is at a premium and public lots are located within a block of the hotel at a much lower rate. Book your dinners in advanced. Take a historic walking tour of the city to help get your bearings. We had a lovely tour guide called Mary Helen Dantzler from Two Sisters Tours. She is a 7th generation Charlestonian who offered us much in site and personal stories about the beautiful city. She was a great storyteller and had a wonderful sense of humor!! Enjoy true southern charm is this beautiful city.
Coming on May 16 Nicholas was awesome. Because of Nicholas, we are staying here and not at the Charleston place where we have been staying for 15 years. If our experience is amazing, we will forever be loyal to this hotel. My Rolls Royce will be parked outside and we will be eating at this revival. We have heard such great things about.. Hopefully, they will take great care of us. We are easy… As long as they have 7&7s….. Wonderful drinks for my wife…. We are golden. Thank you, Nicholas
