We loved our stay here! Everyone was exceptionally friendly (but that did seem to be the case with all of Charleston). The entire hotel from the lobby, lounge area, and rooms were well decorated and aesthetic. The room we chose was a small one but it was just what we needed. The bed and bedding were excellent! The location was also highly ideal as we were able to walk to almost everything during our stay!
The only downside is that the gym is in the hotel next door which we didn't end up going to due to that being slightly inconvenient.

The Ryder Hotel was the perfect spot for our wedding room block. The staff was superb…drinks and food were amazing and all of the common areas to hangout with our guests were so cute and quaint. The gear garage came in so handy for renting bikes and retro style goods which I LOVE. The whole style of the hotel just fit our style and feel and we loved it. Morning coffee was delicious and the specialty coffees and baked goods were a daily hit! We loved hanging by the pool. The location was perfect for walking to our venue and just sightseeing downtown. Our guests raved abour The Ryder and loved being able to stroll to the bar or fireplace and find other friends to just grab a great drink with or something to nibble on. The staff was truly so kind and accommodating. I enjoyed every encounter! We will be back!

We visited Charleston for our son’s tenth birthday and are so happy with our choose to stay at the Ryder. We had excellent service for our entire stay and we’re especially grateful to Slay went above and beyond to make our son feel special on his big day. The hotel is a perfect location, close to anywhere we wanted to go. Amenities were awesome and the rooms were very clean and well stocked. We’d definitely recommend The Ryder!

太長不看可能歧視別住 We had a very bad check-in experience. The reservation was under my partner’s name while his flight got delayed. When he called the hotel to add my name to the reservation, the person confirmed that I would be able to check in. But at the hotel, the front desk person said she couldn’t let me check in. The conversation was very frustrating. She insisted that my partner never called, and that he would need to call again. My partner had to try several times to call since he was traveling abroad. When he finally got on phone with her, she apologized for the inconvenience to him over the phone, but never apologized to me. Throughout the whole process, she did not try to offer viable help and was very condescending. I don’t want to overthink this but I just cannot rule out factors such as race playing a role here. My partner is white and has a white sounding name, and I am a woman of color. The front desk person is white. It’s a very unpleasant experience for us, I hope you can avoid it.

The location and service is great! Our initial room was near the ice room and we could hear people talking in that room and getting ice throughout the night so we didn’t have the most restful first night of sleep, but the manager immediately switched our room without us even having to ask.
They also offer rentals for free. We are here for a wedding and rented a film camera to take to the wedding - film included.
Very accommodating and friendly and you can’t beat the location!
