The Nail Place of Charleston is hands down the best nail spa in Charleston!! Montanna Owen has been doing my nails for little over a year. She’s an amazing free hand nail artist! I have never been disappointed with her work. Everyone who works there is so kind and so talented. The salon is super clean, stylish, has free parking a huge selection of polishes and lots of friendly faces. Love it there!

The Nail Place of Charleston is hands-down the best nail salon in Charleston. I tried so many until my friend recommended I try them and I've never gone anywhere else since, and that was almost 3 years ago. They take appointments, which is awesome. The owners are amazing people, and their entire staff is great to work with. It's extremely clean and has such a nice, relaxing vibe. 10 out of 10 recommend.

I wanted to love this place for the convenience and the kind staff, but unfortunately I can’t return. I got dip powder on my nails which normally lasts me 3-4 weeks no problem, but after the first day I already had cracks in my nails. I went back the following day to get them fixed, then my nails proceeded to chip worse just 3 days later. I went back in to ask for a refund, and was told they don’t do refunds and could only fix my nails again. I didn’t want to bother wasting more of my time just for them to chip again immediately, so I declined. I’m not one to write reviews, but there is something to be said about holding places accountable when doing a terrible job. For a service that was over 70$ and didn’t hold up at all, it’s just a sucky situation.

Have had great experiences here up until recently- and unfortunately I’ll never go back.
Headed off to a wedding and within 1 day of getting my dip done I had a large crack/chip, being out of town I couldn’t get this repaired but by day 4 post dip ALL of my nails were chipped or cracked.
While I was annoyed at this due to my dip typically lasting 3-4 weeks, I thought stuff happens and atleast they could just take off the cracked/chip dip for me when I got home from the wedding at no charge (since I spent about ~$190 initially for dip and pedicure). They sat me down, started to remove my dip- they nail tech taking it off even mentioned “this dip is way to thin and probably why it cracked” and on my way out told me I OWE them $20 for dip removal… I asked for the manager that day to discuss that I was in there

While visiting Charleston to celebrate out mothers 92 birthday we scheduled her a mani/pedi here while my 3 sisters and I went down the street to the Speakeasy Cocktail Class. The girl at the front was great! She was nice, kind and very helpful! We had told our other to stay there and we would come back to get her. The very nice girl arranged for mom to get a bicycle taxi down to where we were and took several pictures! She went above and beyond! They did an amazing job on her nails too! Would definitely recommend the Nail Place. Thank you all.
