Our experience at the gin joint was nothing short of fantastic! The drinks were superb, and our host was incredible, taking our orders with precision, offering excellent recommendations, and being exceptionally attentive throughout the evening. Everything on the menu was exquisite, with each plate surpassing the previous one in flavor and presentation. The staff at the gin joint were lovely and efficient, making us feel genuinely taken care of. The ambiance of the place was beautiful and moody, creating a complete vibe that added to the overall experience. We indulged in a variety of dishes, including oysters, drunken mussels, quinoa salad, the gin joint burger, and the intriguingly delightful peach crème brûlée. Each dish was prepared to perfection. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return!
The words can’t describe how happy I am that this place exists. From cozy intimate atmosphere, impressive liquor inventory, simple but delicious food, to the most important part - the most welcoming team of people both hosting, serving, and bartending. Every single time I visit I just truly feel at home, every person working front of the house has a very warm welcoming vibe, you can tell they are truly happy to be there and are all having a good time. I always choose to sit at the bar just so I can watch every drink getting created. It’s like watching a which craft come to life with the amount of ingredients and steps to every cocktail. Something I always opt out to try are the savory options from their (rotating!) cocktail list. This time I had a tomato gin inspired BLT drink and it truly was so good, I’m thinking of coming down to Charleston just to have it one more time.
I can’t say enough about how amazing this cocktail bar is. We ended a night here on our trip to Charleston and were thrilled with the experience. The bar was quiet, dark, and had some of the most unique drinks we’ve ever seen or tasted. Amazing experience. They also allow you to pick flavors and have the bartender create a unique drink for you. We had just eaten dinner so we did not try any food here, but the options looked tasty.
Awesome little cozy speakeasy. Quaint front garden, with a dimly lit intimate indoor seating. just the right way to enjoy a expertly crafted cocktail after a day of wandering around the humid/hot Charleston before a Ghost tour. All the drinks listed and tried are very unique. Amazing twists on some classics and very seasonal. They were ALL so good! With an extensive Gin and Spirit list - you can't got wrong!
Phenomenal! We stopped in for a drink on our way to dinner so we each only tried one cocktail. But both cocktails were very complex and flavorful and super fun! The atmosphere inside was really great too. It was quite the treat for a suburban a couple who doesn’t get out much!!
