We had the most incredible stay at the Dewberry. We didn’t want it to end! Thank you to the entire staff. We were greeted with tea and warm towels at check in and loved our room, the Charleston Flat. The Citrus Club did not disappoint and we enjoyed having a snack at the bar (also, not sure if we were just extra hungry but the burger was amazing). Fantastic location and walkable to everything in downtown Charleston. We hope to return!

Second stay here and enjoyed our entire experience. Great location and the staff was amazing. First time at the Citrus Club and our server Peyton was great.
The valets Andy and Chirico were super helpful and friendly. Kylie in the dining room made our breakfast extra special. Looking forward to coming back.

We stayed at The Dewberry for three nights and had a wonderful experience. From the reception to the valet, the service was impeccable, and our room was meticulously prepared down to the smallest detail. A special thanks to Elizabeth for the thoughtful surprise gift—it truly made our stay memorable. The entire staff was exceptionally hospitable, friendly, and accommodating. The lovely view of Marion Square and the hotel's close proximity to King Street were added bonuses. Highly recommended!

1. One evening at the Citrus Club, my daughter politely asked if they served hot tea. The young server, perhaps in their twenties, responded with, “We don’t serve anything hot here, and if you want tea, you can go down yourself and get it.” I was genuinely stunned—not just by the lack of service, but by how casually dismissive the response was, especially at what is considered a high-end establishment. It left us questioning the level of training and hospitality standards expected at a hotel of this caliber.
2. Additionally, the lack of vegetarian options across all hotel menus was disappointing. In today’s global and inclusive dining culture, it’s essential to recognize and respect diverse dietary preferences. Visitors from around the world expect at least a few thoughtful, well-prepared vegetarian dishes—not as an afterthought, but as a standard offering.
3. Valet parking services were excellent and the Concierge desk, especially Jared, was exceptional!

Stayed for a quick trip with a friend and the service was wonderful. The restaurants, location, views, room and staff were all five stars. I got a massage and the spa was very nice as well. I left my kindle in the room and called the next day and it was located and shipped to me. Would absolutely stay again.
