I love the charm of the hotel and the rooms were so comfortable. The staff from the time you walked through the front door, front desk, and restaurants were so hospitable. It was the best service I have had in a long time, and I travel a lot.
I was expecting more since the hotel has a 5 star rating. The carpet had stains and the furniture did as well. The customer service was great and the location was ideal as it was right across the street from the market and within walking distance of several attractions. Overall, if you are looking for luxury, I would not suggest this hotel, but if you are looking for a great location, I would suggest booking it.
Renter beware!! Whatever you do...don't let them book you in a room that faces the front fountain...we were excited about our balcony BUT be ready for landscaping blowers every morning at 7 AND the 10PM parade of plastic trash bins. The noise was ridiculous. Unacceptable actually. Could be avoided very simply if guest comfort was their #1 concern
Can't say enough about the staff at Charleston Place. Check-in to check-out everything was fantastic. We stayed on the club level had excellent food and enjoyed the cocktails with Theresa, Arnold and all the other members of the team. I wish i knew their names to recognize all. Old fashioned were top notch! Housekeeping and Alonzo's team were great as well. We took our time each day leaving, they were so accomadating with one phone call! The room was great, the location was perfect as we walked everywhere.
Currently a guest at the Charleston Place. I cannot rave enough how beautiful, friendly, and attentive this hotel is. A top notch luxury hotel that I will frequent often. This has to be one of the most beautiful hotels that pay attention to every detail and oh the smell in here is lovely. Chelsea is amazing on guest relations, the front desk, and Roosevelt all are truly special. Thank you for the warm welcome! We couldn’t be happier.
