Stopped for lunch, it was quiet. It has an active theme with a stage, dance area, and TV's for sports. The food was BBQ, I had the Brisket Philly, the Sauces were great, the chipotle was my favorite, served with Crispy fries. My wife had the Turkey Club, the turkey was nicely smoked and delicious. It was slow, not much activity, but saw the active theme, so only a 4 star.
I've been going to Southern Roots for the paat 6 months however the laat 2-3 times we have ordered online and we have been very disappointed. I get the beef brisket plate with an additional side of beef brisket with is almost $29.00. I don't mind the price what I mind is being ripped off. I'm not getting the additional beef brisket for $8.50. Very disappointing considering I love their food.
Kat is the sweetest, I’ve met her outside of her job but was completely blown away by her service and quickness. I came for the oyster roast and all of the staff was helpful and so sweet! Will definitely be back! Shoutout to Marlon for making every customer feel like family. :)
Wow. Just wow, I had the half rack and pork Belly. Let me tell ya they were juicy cooked to perfectly. I'll definitely recommend it. The pork belly is awesome. But the mac n cheese stole the show everything was amazing and the greens were good too.
We had a group of about 50 people. All the chatter about everything to me was way above and beyond positive. They rocked. For me, it was the best BBQ ever and I’m a connoisseur of BBQ. Selina, Cat and Paul wheeled out excellent service, tasty food as they moved and grooved while we barked orders at them. If you have higher than normal expectations of food quality/taste and service, Southern Roots will not disappoint. I heard about this establishment before I drove eight hours to celebrate a family deal and boy was I glad we made reservations here. Amy A
