I was in the moving and storage business for several years, so I was involved with my niece's recent very complicated move. A very nice and high end Daniel Island home. Half was going to local storage and the other half to her rental truck for Chicago. My side was the local storage. One 3-man crew loaded both trucks. Both trucks were stacked high and tight, well covered and tightly loaded to avoid shifting and damage. The local storage was a bear! 3rd floor elevator and more than a hundred yards of a long walk! The ice from the freak snow storm the day before would make most movers cry, but not them. It was very long day with only a short lunch... John Brown and his crew did a great job. I've not seen better! Thanks Smooth Move! I will recommend you to all in the greater Charleston area.
The team at Smooth Move provides excellent, respectful, and professional services. They were fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They performed our move very skillfully and efficiently. AND...the senior packer actually saved us a lot of money when he got all of our possessions into one storage unit, instead of the two we had reserved. I encourage you to use this company!!
We had a great experience with Dexter and his crew at Smooth Move. They were professional, experienced and efficient when they moved us out of our apartment in Charlotte and brought our belongings to two separate locations with no hassle or complications. We had a precious delicate antique cabinet that they carefully wrapped and placed where it needed to go without any damage. They treated all of our stuff with care and respect. We’ve had terrible experience with movers in the past so we really tried to find a company that would do a good job and we were very pleased and relieved that Smooth Move was the right choice and did a great job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a great reliable moving company. I did want to add that after they left we neglected to do a walk through to check that everything was placed correctly. We found a ding in the sheetrock on the stairs and a piece of future incorrectly put together but overall a great experience. It’s not realistic to expect perfection
I had an exceptional experience with Smooth Move! They arrived right on schedule and worked consistently and efficiently the entire time. The team went above and beyond, even helping with a few last-minute items I hadn’t finished packing. They were very careful with all of my belongings, ensuring everything was safely handled. I was especially impressed when they helped move a heavy lawn mower up the ramp, which was no small feat! Their motivation and willingness to help made the entire process so much easier. The final bill also matched the initial quote, with no surprises. I will absolutely use Smooth Move again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a reliable, friendly moving service!
Our office used Smooth Move to help clear out an estate's storage unit that was full of artwork and large furniture. The movers were excellent. They took such great care of the items being moved. The wrapped them in blanks and plastic wrap to protect them during the move. Then they had to make multiple delivery stops and throughout the entire process they were pleasant and courteous. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The price wasn't bad either!!
