The vibe was mixed but in a good way. There was young middle aged and old men. It's on a waterfront so how bad can it get. The drinks were fabulous the live Reggae music was everything. The musician mixed Reggae with an old school ohio player / war vibe!!! The food was awesome. The collard greens are to die for. The rubs had a great flavor but was over cooked. Without asking the waitress fixed it for me. I sat at the bar outside.
Our first stop in Charleston! The Brussels sprouts were super tasty, but the calamari was a bit too chewy. I ordered grilled mahi sandwiches — the fish was dry and overly salty. However, the service was great and the atmosphere was really nice. Friendly staff and good vibes overall!
Food was good for Bar and Grill. Very cool spot. Drinks were good . Great for a younger audience with cool DJ and Music atmosphere . Fun for a visit. Kinda of a tourist trap I guess. Excellent scenery . Parking bit of a nightmare.
Loved it so much we ate here both nights we were in town! We were a group of 2 adults 4 kids and we got seated both evenings within 45 minutes indoors, which we preferred that time of day due to the sand fleas. tip: Bring good insect repellent if you plan on eating outside!! they make the absolute best smoked wings! And all the sauces are dynamite! We bought some to take home! The collards are amazing! Our kids loved the trashcan nachos with pork and the shrimp and grits! And the Salt water smash beverage is in my top 2!! Views are beautiful! lovely spot to enjoy sunset! Service was top notch from hostess to servers!! We will be back!
Very nice place by the water! If you have bad knees or can’t walk upstairs, please request to sit on the bottom level. Our table was up on an upper level and you had to walk up quite a few stairs. Our server was absolutely amazing. She was going up and down the stairs frequently to get drinks and food. She worked extremely hard and was fabulous! I had a pulled chicken sandwich that was OK. The barbecue sauce options were not my favorite, which did not make the sandwich great for me. My husband had a pick three with oysters and fish and it was OK. The drinks were amazing and were definitely the highlight of the meal. I would visit again.
