Greatest place to stop at in all of Charleston. I have been going here nonstop since my first year of college last year. The employees are great & the owner is a pretty nice guy, too. He even got me into listening to a few of his favorite artists, like The Rolling Stones & Bob Dylan. This place is worth a visit if you're ever in town. 10/10 overall rating!

The store has a fantastic selection of records. That’s where all the positives end. Nearly every record for sale in that store is at least 3x the price it should be. Almost everything has an “original pressing” sticker which they use as justification to price everything so highly but when you open the records and look at them they aren’t in good enough condition to be worth that they’re pricing them at the prices they have only are justified if the records are in mint condition which none of them are

A really great selection of music from a whole variety of genres. The staff were very friendly and for the most part the prices seemed fair (both new and used).
I walked out with new pressings of a Cannonball Adderley and Ahmad Jamal Trio albums. The big stand out, was their small (

Record Stop has such a great collection of records! Stop in and flip through the thousands of records from current artists to classics. The gentleman working was super friendly and desired to answer my questions. The prices might be a bit higher, but the quality is excellent!

Walking into and through this store was like stepping back in time... So reminiscent of my recollection of the Record Stop located in Lake Ronkonkoma NY which was established in 1974, relocated to Patchogue NY, and is celebrating it's 50th anniversary with a block party in July. Classic!!!
