I really enjoyed my birthday brunch at Poonga! The place has a charming southern style. I sat on the porch, watching the street and seeing people pass by, which made for a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly and gave detailed explanations about the dishes. We had crab cakes and banana pudding pancakes, and they were absolutely delicious!

We stopped here and had a fabulous brunch outside on the patio with a couple pups! I split the incredible banana pudding stuffed pancakes and eggs, potatoes, bacon breakfast with a friend and our other companion had the crab cakes. All the food was amazing! The dogs were welcomed with bowls of water and a smile! Service was good even on the patio. I'll happily visit again in the future!

I dined here on a Monday for brunch. There was no wait when we arrived. We shared the pimento cheese fritters as an appetizer. My daughter has the fried chicken sandwich and I had the Banana Pudding Pancakes. Both.were amazing! My friend ordered the crab cake appetizer which was two crab cakes and they were also delicious! I would fine here again!

Overall we were very satisfied with our first visit here. 4 of us girls were here for a girls trip. Zach our server was great, attentive, & accommodating. The hostesses and manager were very great & hospitable as well! Most of our food was good, especially the biscuits & She-Crab soup. If you are a salad lover, would not recommend the Cobb Wedge, very bland and underwhelming. ~The 4 girls outside patio back by stairs last night) 😀 (Michigan, Jersey, Miami, & SC).

We sat at the bar for an early brunch, Kendall was out bartender and took excellent care of us. I had their Poogan's Bloody Mary with a cucumber vodka and my wife had the Zoe's Iced Coffee which were delicious. We had Candied Jalapeno Bacon, the Lowcountry Hash, and Poogan's Famous Bone-in Fried Chicken which were all amazing. This is a must try restaurant!
