Location a positive. Cost a positive. But you get what you pay for. You can sign up for membership there but cannot cancel at this gym, will be charge a quick late fee (in my case credit card was stolen and needed to be replaced), and require 30 notice of cancel and I will be charged the next month.
Decent location but all equipment inside is old and some times broken. The owner is more worried about putting up signs to keep non memebers out than he is updating equipment. The water fountain is pretty much unusable and the bathroom are gross. It’s not usually crowded but probably because it’s not a nice gym.
Visitor. Staff (Ally) couldnt have been more helpful. Awesome gym. Huge functional training area. Quiet during day. Nice crowd. Cant say enough nice things
I’ve been going to pivotal for right around 4 months now. The staff is very helpful and it’s a great community of people. The personal trainers are very friendly and respectful. When I first came in the place was a bit dirty but you can tell the staff has worked hard to keep the gym in its best condition. All around a great gym for locals and students 🙌🏻
This location is terrible. I’m a long time pivotal member. I frequently use the Park West, Wes Ashley and Downtown location. Downtown is clearly neglected. 1. Half of the lights don’t work 2. There are holes in wall in the back room 3. The fans don’t work 4. Half of the lockers in the women’s bathroom are broken- not to mention it is just overall gross in there. 4. Constantly searching for cleaning solution to wipe down the machines 5. The water fountain let’s out the barest trickle. Impossible if you have a water bottle. 6. There is a problem with the ac/heat. It’s freezing in the winter and burning up in the summer. Please, reallocate some of your resources. Park west and west Ashley are nice and well maintained. Downtown needs fixing up. It embarrassing.
