I'm in MUCH greater pain now than I was after becoming a patient about 6 months ago. I was sent out for a pre-op x-ray and went in to sign the pre-op paperwork. Then absolutely NOTHING. The office never scheduled my surgery, basically ghosted me. I've been checking my insurance for fraud because why else would you set someone up for surgery and then forget about them. Now I'm painfully waiting surgery with another practice.
The staff treat you like your family! This is a caring invorment and you definitely feel welcomed. A special shout out to Dr. S he is amazing and listens to your concerns so he can fix the issue.
ETA: Currently facing literally THOUSANDS of dollars in bills for an incredibly simple visit that cost me $200 when seen by a different practice for the exact same thing. Both are in my insurance network. This place is an absolute scam. DO NOT COME HERE. I'm in tears and I don't know what I'm going to do. You can't call the office directly. You get a call center and they can't help you. Their billing is also outsourced and the woman I spoke with there was so nice but unfortunately can't do anything to help because she also can't get to the office directly, only the call center!! Walking into this office was the biggest mistake I've ever made. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I came here for an appointment as a new patient for a nail fungus before the holidays. First let me say that the staff were all absolutely wonderful. Everyone was super friendly and happy to help. However, the building and offices are pretty run-down and kind of gross. The practice just didn't feel very clean to me. Furniture and carpet in the waiting room are dirty and worn. The doctor, while very nice, didn't wear gloves while looking at my nails or taking cuttings. There are no sinks to wash hands in the exam rooms. The furniture, walls and floor in the exam rooms are also pretty grungy. I'm kind of glad I came in for fungus because I feel like I'd be leaving with it for sure. Unfortunately I don't think I will be returning.
Definitely NOT recommending this Podiatry practice or site. Brought my mother in early for her appointment with Dr. Cawthorne. This appointment was confirmed by several emails and the intake was done online, as well. As my mother’s caregiver I was glad she was having a good day so I could get her to this appointment. She is 97 and has extreme difficulty walking. However, when we arrived their Athena scheduling system did not show her appointment. The gal at the desk was dismissive and rude. An after lunch appointment was offered (“we can fit you in”), but, again, my mother is 97, in poor health and we already drove 1/2 hour to get there so that was not a viable option. I was then informed the doctor had to leave for an appointment he had. In the car I called the scheduling line and was told she saw the appointment, but it was a “physician cancel”. It was only cancelled when we finally got there! So, I asked to speak to an office manager. Have not gotten a call back yet. Meanwhile, my mother needs to see a podiatrist. It won’t be with that group. They advertise themselves as The Premier Podiatry Practice. I say that is absolute false advertising.
