All the food here was good, got the Garlic Parmesan wings, Turkey and provolone sandwich, and the Sicilian style pizza. I’d come back here for sure.
We went there mid day, fast service and the food was so amazingly good. Definitely a must if you are in the area. And the staff was phenomenal. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Also, they are pet friendly. But please, keep your fur baby in a leash and make sure they are trained and well behaved.
We had an amazing experience with New York City Pizza located at 190 E. Bay Street in Charleston, South Carolina. We were visiting Charleston, from San Diego, in order to see the city and visit with our granddaughter who is a freshman at the College of Charleston. A snowstorm hit the city and everything was shut down for the three days we were there. One by one the reservations we had made were canceled. On the third, and last day of our visit, we were lucky enough to connect with April at New York City Pizza. Working with the limited number of employees who were able to make it into the city, she took our food order and delivered it to our granddaughter's dorm using her personal truck through streets that were covered with snow. We were able to make our way to the dorm and had a delightful and delicious lunch. We cannot thank April enough. She saved our visit and gave us wonderful memories of the city and personal understanding of "Southern Hospitality".
Lunch today was a disaster. Our server was a young woman who was clueless about the menu. We asked for half and half tea and she brought out unsweetened. We asked if we could order spaghetti with meat sauce and explained that we didn’t want tomato sauce. She brought this orange sauce with meat in it along with ziti noodles. We ordered a ny slice of vegetarian pizza that was burned black on the bottom. When I complained, they brought me another slice with raw vegetables on it. As for the spaghetti with meat sauce, we got spaghetti with tomato sauce and a bowl of orange stuff with meat in it. Awful!!! What a waste of money the meal was. We would never go back.
We came in as a party of 15 with 13 high school students and 2 adults. From jump, the staff was ready to feed us. The kitchen staff went into action, the server took our orders promptly, and the food came out quickly and was delicious. It’s obvious this establishment is a neighborhood fave as many people came in to grab takeout orders. And I love that you can get slices with whatever toppings you like. I was very pleased with our time here.
