Bernie Myatt at Myatt Heating and Air Conditioning came out to my 88 year old mother’s home on one of the worst snow days Charleston has ever seen. He determined that the unit was on its way out. He made it possible to change the unit out a few days later on a Saturday. The kindness and service my mother received was huge. Myatt Air was fair and equitable. If your furnace or AC needs attention give Myatt a call you’ll be glad you did.
I've known Bernie Myatt for several years and used his company many times for HVAC installs. One thing that continues to stand out with Mr Myatt and his staff is commitment to quality. He does what he says and says what he does. In this day and age of overpriced, inferior service Myatt is a refreshing beacon of how a business owner treats his customer. My latest dilemma involved a rental property in which the blower motor was bad The system was fourteen years old and not maintained properly. The ductwork was original from the 60s. Myatt was able to come out, assess the system and schedule a complete replacement within days. He scheduled his crew to arrive at 7 am. They were on site at 6:45. His estimated finish time was 2 pm. Work was completed, all old equipment and ductwork removed and the house and yard completely cleaned up by 1 pm. Where else can one find a comparable company? You CANNOT!. Oh, one more caveat to this story- Bernie Myatt out prices the other two quotes by $2,000. Well done Bernie Myatt! And thank you for the services you provide to the low country.
We have been Myatt clients for years and will always be loyal because of their amazing service. Myatt was recommended to us several years ago when we needed to replace our old AC unit. They installed a new one at a lower price than we had been quoted by anyone else, and with a smooth, quick and easy installation process. Since then, they are our first phone call whenever we have an issue. They are incredibly responsive and are almost always able to get someone out to us within a few hours, when their competitors typically can’t send anyone for a day or more. Bernie and his team at Myatt did a great job replacing our HVAC unit. Bernie came out to inspect the issue immediately after we called him and installation was completed very quickly thereafter. The job was more complex than initially expected, but Bernie didn’t raise his initial quote despite the extra work. Highly recommend and will use again!
