I recently visited the Mitchell Hill Gallery for a class I am taking at the College of Charleston. I was delighted to walk in and be welcomed by very friendly staff. I was expecting a typical art gallery and was surprised to see a fully furnished room. I loved the layout of the room. They have paintings with vibrant colors hanging up. The colors of the paint pop perfectly when contrasted with the white walls. The rest of the place has beautiful little knick knacks spread out on different tables. I have attached a photo to try and help you understand the layout.

The welcoming atmosphere of the Mitchell Hill Gallery was quite amazing. Upon entering, I was blown away by the colorful and popping art that filled the walls of the gallery. Additionally, the chandeliers that hung above you as you walked through were all so beautiful, and there was not one that I did not want hanging in my house! Their collection of modern coffee tables as well as their fun lamps all stood out to me, as well. One artist from Pawley's Island had some of the best-looking pottery I have ever seen. Overall, my experience at the Mitchell Hill Gallery was nothing short of incredible, and I would suggest anyone in Charleston to stop by and check out the great things they have!

Mitchell Hill art galley is a fantastic art gallery for modern art. The pieces that the gallery had were colorful and eye catching but also simple and beautiful. The light fixtures to me were the most incredible and unique pieces. One of the most interesting parts about their gallery is the fact that it is almost all if not all American artists which is hard to come by. In the heart of Charleston it is in a rustic style building. With the old charm of the building and the modern pieces it is one of my favorite galleries in Charleston.

Located in the middle of King Street, stands the magnificent Mitchell Hill gallery. As soon as you enter the gallery you are taken away by the variety of artwork. After taking endless pictures around the gallery, I decided to post one picture that I believe truly captures the essence of the enchanted showroom. As shown below, the picture portrays an assortment of one-of-a-kind artwork. Whether you are looking for a small coffee table for the living room, a replacement for that old worn sofa, or a watercolor painting for the summer house, the Mitchell Hill gallery has plenty to offer at reasonable prices. I strongly recommend anyone walking down King Street to take a few moments out of their day to check out the shop!
