I ordered in November 2024 I pre-ordered a rug to be sent in January. January rolls around, no shipping notification. Getting in contact with their customer service is like pulling teeth. After getting a response from someone, I’m told that the shipment date has been pushed to 2/11. Now worrisome about if this company is a scam or not, I patiently wait. Mid Feb rolls around. Still no rug. Pull some more teeth to get back in contact with their “customer service”, specifically Natalie. She then tells me my rug should not ship until AUGUST now, although their website has restocked multiple times since my order in November. I then asked for a refund. She told me it would take 48 hours. So, I wait 48 hours with no refund. I reach BACK out, and am responded to with an attitude because I needed to wait 48 hours, which I did. Long story short, do not order from this company unless you just want to waste time and money. Several other sites sell the same exact items for the same price.
Our first and only experience with MeadowBlu was not a good one. We planned to purchase 6 chairs to upgrade our dining room set. We were a bit nervous spending that much money without seeing the chairs in person (ordering from website) so we ordered one just to make sure it was as described and planned to order the remaining five after receiving chair #1. We ordered this chair specifically because it was described with black metal legs. We were very surprised to discover upon receipt the legs were BRONZE. We contacted the very friendly customer service representative and after multiple back and forth emails, the company refused to take the chair back and only offered a $35 refund. Amazingly, the company admitted in their email the chairs description was misleading with regard to the leg color. So much so they have since updated the chairs description on the website. After waiting many weeks for this product to arrive from ASIA, it was extremely frustrating and disappointing that despite admitting the misleading description, the company refused to provide a full refund. Forewarned is forearmed. Order from this company at your own risk. At a minimum we recommend you take a screen capture of the product page and speak with someone at the company to verify any critical design characteristics before you order.
On Nov 21, I placed an order for 2 pillow for $447. On Nov 27, Meadow Blu charged my Visa card for the purchase. Over the past month, I have sent emails, called and left messages (no one answers the phone). I have been told the pillows were packaged incorrectly and then repackaged. Twice I was told they were sent out (which is false as confirmed by my calling UPS confirming they haven't been called to pick them up). Today Destiny wrote to me that she called UPS and assured me they have the boxes and the pillows will be delivered today. Again, a lie. I called UPS and spoke to Lavino who confirmed they do not have the boxes and have not been called to pick them up. I called Visa and disputed the charge and I'm sure will get a full credit since I have not received the order. Don't do business with this company. It's one thing if there is a problem and honesty. It's another when customers are lied to over and over again.
I should have paid attention the the reviews on this company before purchasing. I tried to do what I thought was the right thing and purchase through a small company vs a big box store. Well that bit me in the a$$. My order arrived damaged, and they won’t do anything to fix it. The people don’t answer the phone or return phone calls. You have to go out of your way to figure out who to email. I will be warning all my friends and family to stay away. This is not a company I will ever do business with again! BUYER BEWARE!!
Meadow Blu has been essential in making our house a dream home. Kaitlyn is who you want to work with! She has an amazing eye and style but really takes inconsideration your individuality. The pieces are all amazing quality, it’s been hard to go anywhere else for home items. Everything from decor, to lights and furniture we are so happy with the timelessness but still fun and funky options. Even with some items ordered, communication and transparency has been top notch even with all the hassles of shipping. 100% recommend and you will keep going back!
