I didn’t get to stay at this hotel because of a family emergency but they were nothing but accommodating. Every person that helped us along the way showed such grace and care I can’t imagine what the service is like for staying guests. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for great customer service in the heart of downtown Charleston!
Just a great hotel. Great location. The service was better than any hotel we've stayed in. The three front staff, Adreena, Theresan, and the third person's name escapes me were friendly, accommodating, and more than helpful. Always smiling. We can't say enough about them. We will definitely recommend the Market Pavilion.
My husband and I spent 10 days in February at the Market Pavilion Hotel. The room was very comfortable especially the bed. The bathroom with its Bulgari products are very luxurious. The hotel is kept beautifully clean and the turndown service nightly is a very nice touch. Coffee, muffins and some fruit was put out every morning in the lounge on our floor. Another lovey touch! The staff are helpful, friendly and hospitable. The hotel is quiet and in an excellent location. The restaurant is outstanding. My only complaint is the menu at the bar/pool. It is very limited. I definitely recommend this hotel for an adult getaway.
Perfect location if you are looking for a quieter Charleston experience and to be walking distance to all that the historic district offers. A charming and unique Charleston upscale atmosphere (especially compared to corporate hotels on the north side). It's spendy, but you already knew that - the good news is you won't regret it. Good service, and great touches: fresh (tasty) coffee and fruit/muffins on each floor in the morning, and full service (valet, bellman, concierge desk, turn down service, etc.) Rooftop bar (and pool) are a big plus.
as above the room, the service and the location all great. Bedding was great and nice to get ice with turn down service. I did not give them 5 stars for the following reason. 1. bad coffee. nice to have coffee on every floor near the elevator, but on this visit FEB2025 the coffee everyday was really weak. like watered down ultra light roast. last year the coffee was extremely bitter. not sure who their supplier or method is, but I had to leave the hotel every morning and walk to get a decent cup of coffee. 2.The bar is nice, but for 25.00 I expect a better "pour" on my martini.
