Running has been a huge part of my life for nearly 30 years. I may not be the fastest, but it’s where I’ve found my peace, self-confidence and a love for being outdoors while balancing being a stay-at-home mom of four. I ran my third marathon in January 2024 injured. It was a brutal experience and I was really unsure if I’d be able to run the Chicago Marathon that following October. I really wanted to figure out how to overcome my injury so I would be able to get to the start line. I’m incredibly grateful for Rachel’s knowledge, skill, patience and great listening. She really took the time to hear what my goals were and developed a plan to help me achieve them. Along the way she helped me make adjustments as I found challenges balancing my training and my responsibilities as a mom. She really helped to reassure me that I was making progress. I’m proud to say that I was able to start and complete the Chicago Marathon injury free! I am stronger, proud and more confident on what I’ll be able to do next and I truly owe it to Rachel.

Elliot with made 2 move was one of the most knowledgeable physical therapist I have ever met. I had a horrible pain in my arm and it was effecting my work. Elliot was able to help me figure out the issue. He gave me plenty of exercises and stretches to relieve the pain. He made himself accessible for questions outside of our time as well. I never had to take a night off of work because of pain once I started working with him. His patience and work effect was incredible. Also, being inside Ethos made it very convenient to practice the exercises. I can’t say enough about how awesome this place is!!!!!

Working with Rachel was nothing short of an amazing experience. After years of trying to heal my diastasis recti (abdominal separation) and modifying most of my workouts, she gave me back what I lacked most..confidence in my body’s ability to move the way I wanted. Through strategic workouts and education, Rachel’s workouts helped strengthen my core in ways I haven’t felt since before giving birth (10 years ago). Rachel truly cares about her clients and takes intentional time to make them feel supported.
I’m a worm for life!

I’m really happy to have discovered physical therapy. As a child, I saw my grandpa visit a PT, and I thought it was just for older folks. Now, at 35, I realize that back pain has become a real concern for me. Back then, I used to laugh at others complaining about their pain, convinced it would never affect me. I like to think of myself as active, getting around 8,000 steps a day, doing yoga, and lifting weights a few times weekly. However, they say my desk job is the main culprit. When my back pain intensified, I decided to slow down and tried various treatments for a year, including massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic care. These provided temporary relief, but only after being referred to Made 2 Move for physical therapy did I begin to see real progress. I discovered I needed to strengthen my back muscles. After eight sessions with Rachel and some home exercises, I feel the best I ever have. Mild pain might pop up every few months, but knowing the exercises that help me recover, remain active, and stay comfortable is invaluable.

I recently had the pleasure of receiving care at Made to Move Physical Therapy, and I can't recommend them enough! I went in for two separate issues- once for some discomfort in my shoulder and then once for my wrist.
Elliott took the time to assess my situation and created a personalized treatment plan tailored to my needs and abilities. Elliott walked me through each exercise with clear instructions, ensuring I understood the purpose behind them.
Because of the care I received at Made to Move, I’m feeling so much better and am continuing to work on my shoulder as we speak! If you’re looking for a supportive and knowledgeable environment for physical therapy, look no further than Made to Move. Thank you guys!
