Lowcountry Eye Care is the best. Dr Pitcavage is always friendly and patient. The contacts he set me up with have changed my life … no readers. Great comfort. Also, the staff at Lowcountry Eye Care are professional, friendly, and efficient. I strongly recommend this group !

Dr. McCormack is very personable and thorough. She referred me to Dr. Warring for cataract/lens replacement surgery, and he was the best! I have perfect distance, intermediate, and reading vision! I had been wearing glasses, contacts for 50 years!

Dr. Pitcavage and his amazing staff at the Houston Northcutt office are fantastic! Highly professional and responsive as I am adjusting to new contacts. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

This office gives excellent care! I feel that Dr. Pitcavage is so practical in his advice for my contacts and glasses "next steps"! He doesn't try to force sales that may not be needed!

Update: I’m not really sure what my other reviews have to do with my experience here….for example I gave a stellar review to my dentist, which was reflective of that experience…maybe focus on your service rather than the past reviews of valid (past) customers experiences.
Additionally I never stated my eye was “red” nor was that a concern that I stated in office, I sincerely hope you are not breaking HIPA laws by sharing that info and insinuating that was my concern. The cost of the drops was not out of my budget, just a shock as typically other doctors alert the patient of higher cost or items not covered through insurance. The doctor did call me from their personal cell and suggested I call them back or text them on their personal cell, which did not seem appropriate, so you are correct that I did not reach back out to you. I also took care of the glasses by fulfilling my prescription through a new doctor. I still do not recommended this location or any within the franchise.
I do not recommend coming here. I’ve had negative experiences with the eye doctor here as well as my prescription lenses. I came to see the doctor a few months ago with pain in my eye as I thought something was trapped under my lid. The male doctor dismissed my pain and didn’t even do a lid flip to check if anything was stuck underneath….all he did was prescribe $150 eye drops (he didn’t mention the cost). I still had excruciating pain several days later and decided to go to another doctor…this doctor was SHOCKED that the low country eye care doctor didn’t perform a lid flip and guess what…he found something underneath my lid that he removed. It’s amazing what happens when a doctor ACTUALLY performs their job.
The second issue I had was with my prescription lenses. I was told they arrived and to come to the office, when I arrived they mistakingly ordered or were sent sunglasses lenses and not clear regular lenses. After another week they called to say my correct lenses arrived. So I went to the office again and this time the lenses were clear but they were very thick and gave a fishbowl effect. I mentioned this to the staff and they said if I still felt that way after a few days to call them again….well the glasses didn’t magically fix themself… I ended up ordering a pair from another provider and they were perfect. Clearly the provider they use for lenses is incompetent and unreliable.
I will also mention that the front desk staff is typically unpleasant, adding to my overall review score. I do not recommend this location or provider for any service.
