A MUST VISIT for tobacco lovers looking for a peaceful place within a restless world.
This location has an impressive collection of extraordinary cigars paired with exquisite furniture and thoughtfully curated accouterments.
I enjoyed a stunning Peter James Emergence by recommendation.

It's definitely an upscale cigar lounge. I'm so used to cutting a lighting my cigar, I was thrown off when the gentleman offered a cut and light. The beer selection was great, and I saw some really good bottles of wine. $70 for a Lost City was hard to shake.
I love Tatuaje, and they had Drac & Jason lancero cigars, so that was a win.
Be careful if you bring a stick from outside as it's a $20 fee to cut a cigar you bring from outside. I understand it, tho. It helps to deter people from just coming into the lounge smoking and not purchasing anything.
Does this count if I buy a cigar one day and come in to smoke it the next day?

Beautifully renovated upscale cigar lounge. Gary is very knowledgeable and cut from a different cloth. Thanks for a great time yesterday while I was on vacation. Cigars + Beer + Wine + relaxation.

I stopped by this place after a cold shopping day on King’s Street. I was immediately “greeted” by an officious person who asked what I wanted. Ummm…to have a cigar? He asked me to leave my shopping bag outside the humidor. Obviously, I looked like someone who would scoop cigars into my bag despite his hovering. When he asked if I was buying cigars to take home, I told him that I had planned to enjoy one in the lounge. “Are those sweat pants”, he asked, “because we have a dress code here”. I grabbed my shopping bag and headed to the door. I would have said good-bye to all the patrons, but there were none…deservedly so.
i should have included the definition of officious, I guess:
assertive of authority in an annoyingly domineering way, especially with regard to petty or trivial matters.

The men were looking for an establishment while the women were at the spa, King’s Leaf did not disappoint. From the atmosphere to the cigar selection, top tier. However, the service we received from Jed was exceptional. He not only toured us through the humidor but confidently served beers that paired perfectly. If Jed welcomes you through the door your in good hands and trust his recommendations. I will be back next time I am in Charleston.
