I found them while visiting Charleston. Personalized service by the multiple generation owner. Unique selection of frames. I realized I forgot a coating on the lenses after I received them at my home 1000 miles away, completely my fault, and they made it ridiculously easy to send it back and get the proper ones.
Better late than never review of the 5 star customer service I received from the Jackson team! My boyfriend and I were visiting in October when I realized I left everything back in New York. As soon as we got off the plane and settled in, we gave the vision center a try if they could help us out on short notice. We are very grateful for your quick help and hospitality. Supremely Helpful! I can't say how grateful I am to the talented folks at Jackson Davenport! I have a pair of Garrett Leight sunglasses that are now discontinued. These are my all time favorite pair of sunglasses. Well, I stepped on them wearing shoes while they were lying on my brick steps. I thought these shades were done for good. They looked so jacked up! I contacted GLCO and they said that Jackson Davenport was a stockist and that I should try there before shipping them back to see if the lap at GLCO could repair them. So, I stopped in while I had a free minute downtown at the King Street location. They immediately took a look at the glasses and started working on them. They took my name and number to call me when they had them ready. Then I was looking around the store trying stuff on when Dr. Davenport said, "try these now." I tried them on and they were still a little crooked. She took them back and then a couple of minutes later she came back with them and they were perfect. I was so relieved! These shades aren't available anywhere - GLCO, E-Bay, or anywhere else. So thankful!
As a tourist on vacation in Charleston, I had some difficulty with my prescription glasses. They took care of me right away and I picked up an amazing pair of beautiful new glasses from the store. Michael and the staff are the best. So grateful for their help and their beautiful eyewear.
