I had the pleasure of dining at Indaco restaurant I must say, it was an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere. Our server, Fawn, was attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the menu, helping us navigate the extensive selection of Vegetarian Italian dishes. Their Beetroot salad and Brussel Sprouts side dish were to die for. The flavors were so vibrant and fresh. They also had a separate menu for kids so my daughter was taken care of. The portion sizes were generous, to say the least, and we left feeling satisfied but not stuffed. The food is authentic, the service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Whether you're a foodie, a couple on a date, or a family looking for a delicious meal, this restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations.
Wow!! This is a great place. Everything was amazing. From the cocktail to the app to the main dish all the way to the desert. So good. Service was great and informative and very helpful with suggestions. Started out with a Manhattan which was perfect and then the apps were also on point. Highly recommend trying this restaurant and enjoying what they have to offer.
Wanted to have Italian in Charleston... Indaco has a lively atmosphere, unique and engaging... warm and friendly. The food overall is average, good, but nothing special. The Focaccia bread and butter is warm, soft and delicious. Tried the meatballs... they are fine or average. Had the Tagliatelle, which is their version of Carbonara. This was a miss; I would give a B-... very salty and lacks flavor. Finally had the Grilled Squash... which was good, but dry and smokey flavored from the word burning pizza oven. Our server was very nice and informative; however, the restaurant is lacking enough staff and waited a long time between dishes and overall took 2.5 hours to eat... note to management... hire more servers and you will turn tables 2x and generate more profit and happier customers! Overall, I would recommend Indaco... for casual Italian and a great atmosphere.
Without question some of the best Italian food I've had in a long time! We ordered the chef's choice menu where they bring you 3 appetizers, 2 main courses and a dessert for $55 a person which is a great deal and so much fun as you don't know what they'll bring you! For apps they brought us a beet salad which was really good even though I don't like beets, 4 or 5 meatballs which were some of the best I've ever had, and an entire wood fired Spicy Soppressata pizza, delicious! They brought us the wood fired pork chop which was perfectly cooked at medium temperature and the Tortelli! To top it off they brought us zeppoles! Who doesn't like fried sugar coated dough with caramel sauce?! If you like Italian, this is a must try place!
I was invited here for a wine event and they were showcasing some great wines but more importantly, some of their food. They had a plethora of apps that they kept bringing out from arancini, to caprese salad, tiramisu and the best things were the meatballs. I went back for those meatballs a dozen times! I’ve heard great things about this place but now I’m looking forward to dining in to try their pizzas and entrees since their apps were so delicious! Their staff were so kind to keep cleaning up after us and replenishing all the food! This seems like a great place to host corporate events and a nice date night!
