This was the best meal/service I had over a 3-day Charleston trip! The meal was delicious from start to finish, and the waiter took his time explaining all of the food and options. Great wine, deviled egg appetizer was amazing, mushroom pasta was spectacular, and homemade coffee ice cream was the perfect ending. We sat out on the upper patio, and the atmosphere of the whole place was fine dining yet comfortable. Will absolutely be back!

We had a reservation at 6pm and when we got there we were immediately greeted and sat. Our server was name Guy and he did an absolute fantastic job as our waiter. He explained the specials, recommended some of his favorite foods, and very detailed explained any questions we had about the menu. Once the food came out I was absolutely blown away. The food was absolutely phenomenal, delicious, and the presentation was beautifully done. The dessert was absolutely delicious as well. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you so much for the experience!

We discovered this place while walking on a tour, and our tour guide said they have an extensive bourbon and whiskey selection. Between hearing about the excellent food and loving bourbon, I already knew we had to come back and try it. We made reservations, because this place gets packed, but it was a good thing we did and came early. Let me tell you, this food was delicious! The cornbread was super moist, the ribs and oysters were truly finger licking good, you can't go wrong. I thought the collard greens and rabbit were great but, the side of rice we had with our entrees wasn't. That was left to be desired, but everything else we had from the catfish and the swordfish was good. I then tried a specially crafted whiskey and that was outstanding! It was super smooth. After eating at the restaurant, we then went to the bar and we were taken aback by all the bourbon and whiskey bottles. It was truly a sight! We then ordered a cheeseburger to go, because we heard it is one of the best in the city, and it was! It was absolutely delicious, juicy and had the right amount of cheese. Our bartender for the night was super cool, and with this being right next door to the restaurant, a great place to get a drink after any meal. I enjoyed both the restaurant and bar, and I know I will have to return to the bar and try more whiskeys.

We ordered fried pork ribs, cheese burger, shrimp grits and pork chops. Overall I can give 5 starts. My son’s comment on his cheese burger “ the best fries ever. “ I like shrimp grits because of those very flavorful sauce. Pork chop is too thick to my taste makes it little dry. There’s no sauce comes with it. But hush brown is amazing.

I’ve been hoping to make it back to Husk for many years, and as the years passed, I was afraid I built up my expectations to an impossible level. My fears were quickly washed away after retuning with the experience somehow still exceeding those lofty expectations. Every detail of my dinner was amazing from the beauty of the location and architecture and decor of the restaurant in charming Charleston to the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, and of course, the delicious food beautifully presented. When I arrived, the hostess took the time to chat with me and still check others in as I waited for the rest of my party and our table, once seated, our waitress shared her personal recommendations for dishes as she guided us through the menu, and the food blew me away. I can’t wait to return again!
