I recently relocated to Charleston and needed to furnish my new apartment. After stopping by several other home stores, GDC was our final stop (just by nature of the location). I flew down to make some decisions before I moved in, and I walked in feeling frustrated as I had been unsuccessful so far. UNTIL GDC Home! I knew I wanted a coastal look and from the minute we entered the store I felt hopeful this was the right place for me. Unlike some of the other places we had been where we were ignored, we were immediately greeted with warm hellos and smiles. As my friend and I moved through the rooms looking for ideas, we were continually greeted by very friendly sales people offering help. I was in search of a comfortable, but traditional elegant couch. My living space presented as tricky as it was long and narrow. Not only did I end up with the perfect couch, but I found a rug and placed an order for two custom chairs. I am counting the hours for the new chairs to arrive to complete the space. I was incredibly lucky to have Cammi Fishel help me select, plan and order the items for the room. She was full of ideas. She was patient and recognized my visual learning style. On my next visit she had floor plans and more ideas. She also stayed in touch over emails. Not only was she incredibly enthusiastic and talented, but her communication and follow up was exceptional. She was a true pleasure to work with over the last few months. Also to note: Customer service was great as was the first delivery with another one on its way. Thank you, Cammi and GDC Home staff, for helping me put my new home together and making it feel like a home. I am so grateful! I look forward to working with you again in the near future. I will be sure to share pictures when the room is done!
Just a beautiful store with a big selection of furniture, decor, artwork, hostess gifts. Megan was awesome in helping me find the perfect chair and fabric for my new home. Will definitely be back to find some other great treasures.
Reesa. Not sure Im spelling her name correctly, but everything she does has been spot on for me and my family. Reesa can help you with a stand out piece or a whole home. Couldnt ask for better. To add to it all, the store has fabulous choices to suit anyones style. If you want Traditional or switch it up a bit, GDC has it. Reesa is the cherry on top. Many thanks for all yall do!
Great staff, everyone is customer focused & very knowledgeable. There are beautiful items throughout the store. Best furniture store I've seen in this area.
Inspiring me with ways to style my space in more ways that sooth my soul. With so many different palettes to choose from, we had the best time dreaming our home into the perfect reflection of the sanctuary escape it is, one rug at a time!
