This is my second stay at the French Quarter Inn. For both of my stays I can honestly say this is by far the best hotel experience I have ever had. From booking my reservation with Marvin, to arrival with Jay taking care of my bag and letting the front desk know I was heading up to check in and Toby with food and beverage making sure there are vegan items available (I can’t eat eggs or almonds). Both Jay and Toby provide outstanding hospitality and are shining stars here at French Quarter Inn. The breakfast and afternoon cheese and wine events make this experience even more perfect. The only place to stay in Charleston in my opinion.
We used to live in Charleston and come back a lot to visit friends. After staying at the French Quarter Inn we will not be staying anywhere else again! Perfect location to see and walk the city, spotless rooms and so many extra little touches. Every staff member we interacted with was amazing. Low country hospitality and luxury at its best! We will be back soon!!
We would definitely recommend this Inn. Service was excellent! Room was comfy, and clean. Personally I would have loved the addition of a ceiling fan over the bed, but that's just me. I love air circulation when I sleep. No lack of stars for that. They do a really good job taking care of you at this hotel. It's in a great central location for everything you want to do.
This might be my favorite hotel that I’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect- we were walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were very friendly. Everything was nice & clean & the decor was beautiful. It was quiet. The bed was very comfortable. I don’t think we will ever want to stay anywhere else when we come back to Charleston. We truly felt like a valued guest when we stayed here. I can’t rave about this lovely hotel enough!
What a beauteous hotel. I went on a solo-trip to Charleston, stayed at the French Quarter Inn, and found it to be pure Southern charm. I was greeted every day with warmth from all who worked there, offered champagne at check-in, had a well-appointed suite that was luxe and clean, experienced excellent service my entire trip, and loved all of the food + treats offered throughout the day (and night). My favorite part about my stay, other than my room, was the full cook-to-order breakfast delivered to my room each day AND warm cookies + milk that was served each evening (included in the room rare). So lovely! The location is unbeatable as it's just steps from Charleston's best in the French Quarter. This was a truly unforgettable stay! I will return when I revisit Charleston.
