SO GOOD! The atmosphere is so nice- inside is lowlighting with a beautifully flower decorated bar and a nice outdoor courtyard for when the weather is nice. Our waiter was so nice, she explained the whole menu and gave honest recommendations. The portions are pretty large which was nice for sharing. This restaurant is located inside the Emiline Hotel which is very nice. Overall this is a great spot for a nice meal in Charelston. It was very busy so I would highly recommend getting a reservation.
What a great atmosphere. The Bloody Mary and shrimp on polenta was the best ever tasted. And for appetizer, I've never had a meatball and sauce as wonderful tasting as these. The sauce didn't cause any acid indigestion what so ever. Highly recommend Sunday brunch.
Dined here for a belated Valentine’s Dinner, first impression it’s a very lovely dining layout but a bit loud. The food was delicious but it’s a little underwhelming with the options. The Chicken Milanese was delicious as well as the Rabbit Pesto Pasta. The Mussel appetizer was flavorful but it was the first time I’ve ever had cold mussels purposely. Must say though, best espresso martini I’ve had around town 🍸 Emma is a wonderful server, might circle back to this spot in a couple months.
We were just passing through Charleston, wandering without a plan, when this restaurant caught our eye. So we gave it our attention and it gave us something back. We grabbed seats at the bar, and from the very first moment, the bartenders made us feel like regulars - friendly, attentive, effortlessly kind. It felt like sitting somewhere in Italy, where the night moves slower and food tastes better. If you’ve ever read Eat, Pray, Love, you’ll know exactly what I mean. Two pizzas, a Margherita and one with mushrooms, arrived with that perfect kind of crust: thin but slightly puffed, full of flavor without feeling heavy. A cocktail, a few smiles, and the kind of evening you carry with you for a long time.
I don’t have enough good things to say about this spot. The service (thank you Stephanie and Caroline and your team!!) was amazing despite our size (10). The vibes were immaculate here with a large outdoor patio and fireplace and an open area to sit inside but near the outside. The food was all fantastic and way too much for us but also reasonably priced. I would highly recommend and am hopeful I’ll get to visit again!
