    **Avoid Firestone on Folly Rd at all costs!** I've had the unfortunate experience of bringing my cars here many times now for tire rotation, alignment, and balancing, and each time it's been a complete disaster. They seem to think that because I’ve paid for a lifetime service, they can slack off and not actually do the work. It’s clear they’re just pretending to do their job, all while giving zero attention to my cars. Today, I had an appointment at 10 a.m. and by 4 p.m., my car still wasn’t finished. I had to walk up to the counter myself to ask about my car, only to find out they had *completely forgotten* about it. Once they realized I was upset, the manager rushed to get someone to take it in. But this isn’t the first time—it’s happened before! The last three visits, they claimed my car was ready, but when I checked, they hadn’t even rotated the tires, and the steering wheel wasn’t even straight. If you're thinking about getting tire services here, think twice. This place is a scam and the worst tire service in the area. Don't waste your time or money on a company that doesn’t care about your car, especially when they’ve already been paid for the work!

    I showed up right as they were about to close and Dillon still took the time to help me out. He handled my tire issue quickly and did an excellent job. Really appreciated the great service!

    I will not be returning my vehicle to this location or any other Firestone due to the recent experience having my vehicle repaired at James Island. I had the team run a diagnostic due to a check engine light come on the morning before I brought it in. I asked them to quote me what it would cost to fix all the issues they found. It’s an old car I was not expecting there not to be issues. I brought my car in early in the morning they told me diagnostic would be done before lunch. After calling twice for updates they did not get back to me until the day after with a quote. Once quote was delivered I told representative that if any other problems were to come up I want to be notified before doing anything. I was told to come pick up the car Sunday morning and when I got there they were still working on it. I had to come back hours later. Finally I get my car back I turn the air conditioning on because they changed a cabin filter and it was making a horrible sound. They did not turn the air on to check their work. Then telling me I need to replace a motor ( which I would have if I was aware of the issue before being told the car was fixed). My car was making a weird sound when I dropped it off they told me the repairs they were making was going to repair it, as soon as I start it same sound remains. I had all 4 tires replaced. I had to get the valve fixed at a different shop because it went flat the day after picking car up. I tried to bring up my concerns to representative and he was nothing but dismissive and quite frankly rude. My car now has problems it did not have before dropping it off, I was not made aware of these problems, they did not check their work, and they were rude to top it off. I went to Firestone because I thought they had a reputation to “ complete” the job. I could not be more disappointed.

    Wouldn’t go here for anything but tires. I payed them to inspect my struts that were installed by an another incompetent mechanic that doesn’t work at Firestone. I told them to inspect my struts has they were still thumping. Got charged for an alignment and my new struts were still thumping. No point of charging someone an alignment if the struts aren’t fixed in my opinion. Wouldn’t say their intentions were mischievous. Also the alignment was contingent on if they could fix my struts issue. Steve Ellis Automotive services in west Ashley found there were two hand tightened bolts causing the knocking that Firestone missed during their “inspection” of my struts and blamed the thumping on something else. I’m not an automechanic by any means. They still won’t refund me for the waste of $$$ on alignment I had to get again so I will be contacting my credit card company to decline the transaction. It’s a shame to because they are so close to me where I live and I have multiple vehicles that get driven hard with my job. Anything more than a simple tire change will taken somewhere else. Also no clue why this even happened but my entire air intake was left taken apart and in pieces with the hood shut on it. Not sure why but strange as that was irrelevant to the job. Not sure if it came apart but I doubt it as that’s never happened before.

    Carl and his crew helped me replace a tire on a busy Saturday as I was trying to get back home to Charlotte. They were fast and SO kind. Than yall SO much!
