A great museum at a reasonable price! One of the best deals on the history of Charles Town/ Charleston. It's a great starting place for your visit. The lady who showed us the dungeon (which is so much more than that) gave us some great information and made it interesting! I went twice through this tour one month apart to take my niece and daughter in law. The second time I learned many more details! It's a great tour!!

The Old Exchange Building offers an insight into the past of Charleston with a self guided tour that spans two floors and a 25 minute guided tour of the Provost Dungeon. This is a must visit for tourists to gain a deeper understanding of the location as well as current building and all its importance. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and guides are well versed on their subject.
