GREAT FOOD!! What a stacked deli. Wow the menu is off the charts extensive with sandwiches, soups, potatoes, salads, and much more. Great service and a clean restaurant help round this out for a great experience. I had the ultimate potato with cheese, chicken, and bacon. It was incredible.
We popped in here for lunch after visiting the aquarium. Clean, nice vibe. Friendly staff. When ordering your sandwiches, you get to build them to your liking. My husband got the hot NY pastrami on a French roll with spicy mustard, provolone, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion. The side of fries didn't come out hot. I also got the pastrami, but as a half with a cup of tomato bisque. The rye bread was pretty good. The pastrami wasn't very warm or overly seasoned, but still tasted good. Not the best I've ever had, though.
I can find nothing negative to say about this place. The low rating is more personal as I am not really a Deli fan. The place was clean. The service was over the top wonderful. If you like great delis this is your place.
Absolutely love East Bay Deli, I have been a loyal customer for years now. And I always switch up my sandwich choices bc their selection is so good! Thought I would share this obvious random accident which I found to be hysterical when opening my bag of chips!
Google sent me here. I'm glad it recommended it. Food is good prices are right for the area. About $15 each for lunch. It was busy for it being after the normal lunchtime. About 130 pm . Plenty of seating inside and outside. The menu was easy to read with prices. Get what you want the way you want it. Each item is made to order in a timely manner. Highly recommend for a good meal.
