I did a major home renovation as well as a new structure with Diament Building in 2016. The work and craftsmanship was amazing. Evan put quite a few of my finished pictures on his Instagram page. Renovating an old home can be a stressful project. Evan made sure that he always did the right thing when we had unforeseen issues, which happens in renovations!! His regular crew was fantastic. We were fortunate enough to have access to a master carpenter Evan knew who did a lot of custom work for us. My wife and I were amazed how affordable this custom work was compared to off-the-shelf type of components. Our home came out better then we ever imagined and Evan's suggestions were a big reason why. I saw a bad, one star rating for Diament Building on here. with no detail. I would reason that this was a mistake or he dealt with a difficult customer which I'm sure happens. Lots of nut jobs out there as they say. I am happy to be a reference anytime if someone would like to discuss my project with me. Just let Evan know and he can put us in touch.

One of the most important things you can do when hiring a homebuilder is to do your due diligence. Check with the lumberyard(s), vendors, and designers in the area and hire a great construction attorney to have by your side to research the entity and advise through the process. Also make sure to review past and present lawsuits to check for possible trends or patterns. Courtplus.org is a great site for research in my opinion. Great advice for anyone looking to build a home for the first time.

Evan and his team did a fantastic job with my historic "to the studs" renovation. Evan was very involved in the day to day construction. Our project was quite difficult (house was from 1880), and Diament did a great job of keeping the project on budget. Their craftsmanship was excellent.
Highly recommend.

Evan and his team at Diament is a very professional group that will always get the job done right. I have worked on a couple of new builds with them and you really couldn't ask for a better team. I would recommend them to anyone. As a kitchen designer I see a lot of different builders and remodeling company's in the area and it is always great to work with them.

Evan's company renovated our Sullivan's Island home. 3 new bathrooms, new floors, new kitchen, sailboarding on the walls. New wiring for stereo, cable and speakers. A new 40 foot pool with patio and pool room under the house was created. Garden fences as well as a new lawn, extensive plantings and outdoor lighting were installed. Evan never exceeded his original budget (unless we asked for later changes to the plan) and finished the job a week earlier than originally forecasted. Evan Diament is an excellent builder and contractor I would recommend to anyone.
