I've been searching for a hairstylist ever since moving to South Carolina from New Jersey almost 3 years ago. I loved the cut from my stylist in Jersey and finally found someone who could replicate and improve upon that hair style. I am thrilled to have found Ashley! She took the time to discuss what I liked about the hairstyle and was completely open to looking at pictures I brought as references. From consultation, to shampoo, to cut, and finally blowout, she was meticulous at every point during my visit. I enjoyed our conversations that helped create a relationship which I hope continues for a long time. Hair is such an integral part of self-expression; and to find a highly skilled stylist who also has the ability to make clients feel comfortable is very important. I highly recommend Coven; kudos to Mac, the owner. I loved the cleanliness, decor, and all-around vibe of the salon. There are a lot of stylists to chose from and I'm sure you'll be able to find one who can give you exactly what you want! As an added convenience, there's a parking garage right next door. Although I'll miss my former stylist, I'm glad the stars aligned and I won't have to pay for an airline ticket in order to have my hair styled!!!
Went with my daughter for a girls day. It was her first time getting color and I got a cut. She was a true expert at her craft and took the time to teach you how to replicate styling at home. I also liked that she was honest about selecting a cut. I picked a photo and she showed me what it would look like with my texture thickness etc so I would have a realistic expectation. She also provided feedback on length with face shape. For hair care she recommended what would work best including how to save some money. My daughter and I walked out feeling like rock stars. Literally before I made it a single block a stranger complimented my hair. So many people have made comments so far. I’m telling everyone I know about her. Not only is she great at her profession but she’s kind, fun, and really cool. Definitely book with her, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Mac gives the best and most consistently great haircuts I've ever had, and he's one of the nicest people to deal with! He's been cutting my hair for over a decade, and it's always been this way. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating!
The Coven experience is wonderful. They take care of you right from the start. The vibe is so cool. Madison rocks! She’s passionate about what she does, wants you to look and feel your best, and is highly talented. Love my hair every time!!
Julia was beyond nice and listened to every concern and idea I had. This was my first time with a new hairdresser in 20 years, and she could not have been better. I chit chat when I’m nervous, and she let me yap away all while encouraging me and making me feel comfortable. I will be coming back to see Julia and to enjoy the safe space that is Coven! Thank you!!
