My friends and I rented the 18' Tidewater boat for the 4th of July and had an absolute blast. The staff was super nice and made renting the boat very easy. Shout out to Charlie, who helped get my friends and I acquainted with the boat and answered all of our questions prior to departure. If you are looking to spend a day on the water and have a great time, then I would recommend checking them out! I know I'll be renting from them again in the future.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff, gave us a list of places to go! Checked in on us when there was a storm
approaching to make sure we were okay and to tell us it was going to pass over quickly. Boat was in great condition and well equipped!

We could not have enjoyed our boat rental more! Adam was extremely accommodating with our rental and last minute change to the next day because it started to rain. He explained the equipment and waterways in great detail allowing us to head out and have a wonderful time. We'll definitely rent again from Charleston Power Boat Rentals!

We rented the T-top Carolina Skiff for a group of 7 people and had an absolute blast cruising around Charleston Harbor and up into the rivers. Charleston Power Boat Rentals were reasonably-priced for a half-day bareboat rental and did a great job with the safety briefing and going over the navigational charts. Charleston Harbor is not necessarily the easiest place to go boating if you're not super experienced, but they did a really good job of making us feel comfortable. I can't say enough good things about the quality of the boat. The Carolina Skiff seemed brand-new and was clean as a whistle, with a nice powerful engine and some good technology. The Garmin GPS and depth-finder really helped with Charleston Harbor's constantly changing depths, so I never felt like we were in danger of running aground. The boat also had a great stereo system and it was super easy to connect my phone to the Bluetooth and start listening right away. The Carolina Skiff is never going to provide the smoothest ride through the harbor when it gets choppy, but it was absolutely perfect in the rivers: very stable and roomy, especially with some people onboard who hadn't spent much time on boats. There was plenty of seating for the promised 9-person capacity, but since we only had 7, it was super comfortable. My only complaint: the throttle control needed to be tightened a little bit so it didn't move while cruising on a plane, but that's an easy fix. Hampton was an awesome dockhand who helped us get underway, and he complimented my docking skills, which I appreciated. Overall, we had an amazing time on the water and I can't wait to rent from Charleston Power Boat Rental again in the future. I would also love to take some of their ASA sailing courses from Charleston Sailing School after having such a good experience this past weekend.

Let me just say working with this dynamic duo was a breeze and a pleasure. From the time we arrived we were welcomed warmly and given an in depth over view of the waterways with suggestions of things to do to make our trip fun as we celebrated a friend's 30th birthday.
The price we paid for 8 hours on the lovey 21' Scout was perfect and probably the most reasonable I've seen.
The boat was in excellent condition and very clean.
When I return I will be renting from this company again, and suggest you do as well. As an avid traveler and a water lover, renting here will be sure to bring you a great adventure.
Do be safe and do follow the rules regarding the maximum number of people allowed. The company could lose their insurance if you don't and we hope they're around for some time to come.
