I am absolutely blown away at the ambiance presented by Charleston Custard and Vandy Co. Visiting from the Midwest and I have been looking for Southern charm and class…I found it here at CC&V. Katie is our bartender and I don’t know what to say besides that I love her. Lights are dim, drinks are fantastic and I just love it here. She is fantastic. Have a drink here, enjoy yourself.

There isn’t even a storefront. You walk into a hallway and order with some random sketchy dude. He goes to another room and returns your custard. This isn’t even custard. It’s like frozen milk with ice chunks. The fat of the cream hasn’t even melded with everything. I ordered “cookies and cream”. It was vanilla ice milk with powdered cookie crumbles on top. Tasted terrible. Do not recommend.

I loved this soft serve custard! It was also conveniently located next to an awesome bar called Big Johns! I highly recommend checking out Charleston Custard and Candy’s to anyone who has the chance

It’s just soft serve ice cream. Simple. Nothing special. Granted they were out of the flavor-of-the-day when I visited. Conclusion: Maybe give the flavor-of-the-day the benefit of the doubt, but otherwise expect regular soft serve ice cream.
