Great food! We sat on the rooftop which was very inviting and comfortable. The waiter was fantastic and very on top of all our needs. I ordered the low country shrimp and grits + fried green tomatoes and it was out of this world! Great service, great food and definitely will be back.
We had an amazing experience at Charleston Crab House! The food was absolutely delicious — highly recommend this place if you're in the area. We started with the Crab Stuffed Mushrooms and Hushpuppies, both were full of flavor and a great way to kick off the meal. The Lowcountry Shrimp Boil was a standout — perfectly seasoned and satisfying. The staff, from the hostess to our waitress, were friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. The restaurant was packed, even on a weeknight, so I’d definitely suggest making a reservation if you're planning to go on a weekend. Don’t leave without trying the Key Lime Pie — it was the perfect sweet finish. Will definitely be back!
We had a party of 10 the wait time was only 25 minutes which was nice being that we got there at 5pm. The server Tori was phenomenal. For the food I got the seafood Ali wappoo which was good but the scallops were slightly over done making them chewy and the noodles were over cooked as well; but the red fish was fantastic and the all around flavoring of the food was great. All around phenomenal service and good food and would come back to try again.
Stopped at the Crab house on our way home today. We chose to be seated on the roof top patio. It was sunny with a cool breeze. Perfect for dining on the rooftop. I opted for the daily special, fried blue crab salad and my husband had his favorite, shrimp and grits. We also started with calamari and the crab stuffed mushrooms. The food was great and our server was attentive and quick to correct a mistake with our appetizers. We will definitely visit again.
I love seafood and this place hit the spot! I loved the fried blue crab claws, steam pot with crabbiness extra seasoned and grilled seafood platter. It was all very fresh, tasty and really delicious! From the time we arrived everyone was friendly and hospitable. But our server COLLIN was amazing!! He was so friendly and treated us like family. We found out that he is a teacher and works with students which explains his patience and great attitude. He really made our night special and I’ve never had anyone ask us out names and spend time talking to Us and providing great service. The manager also came over and said hello and checked on us. It’s a vibe and you can dress up or down but the food is delicious! Must eat Charleston spot!
