The staff is always courteous, thoughtful, efficient, and thorough. I am extremely happy with the doctor's assistance; he is sensitive to my concerns, he is able to answer a myriad of my questions, and he tackles my health issues all with a confidence borne from years of education and experience. In so doing, he not only addresses my health concerns and challenges but cares for my mental state of being; his holistic approach to healing and optimum health is priceless. I feel confident that I am being well cared for, and I am very grateful for the services provided by COEM. Thank you!

My 2nd visit and I couldn't be happier with the way things are going. The doctor listens & makes recommendations, which is unheard of in the GP's office. I feel much better and we are tracking the numbers to feel even better. Everyone in the office is so happy and pleasant. It is a pleasure going there!

I was seen there a few years ago and couldn’t be more disappointed? Not only was I asked to pay $1000 upfront for which I had an exam in the kitchen because I was told they were busy and didn’t have an examining room available. On top that all my lab work was paid by me, however the office billed my ins as well. When I called my ins I was told that the practice owed back funds for something it was paid but shouldn’t and didn’t return them. For that reason my reimbursement to me was withheld so that the funds owed back by the practice would satisfy the owed funds which amounted to around $300, what a sham. I wonder how many people like me were duped.
I got nothing for my $1000 plus the money owed to me by my insurance for which this practice was credited. That was a lot of money for a widowed retiree, I’m still very upset. My stepson referred me there was also a patient.

I cannot say enough about the exceptional care my entire family has received at the Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine (COEM) under the expertise of Dr. Stephen Elliott. After years of struggling with mold poisoning, lifelong health issues, and an overwhelming toxic burden, we had been endlessly bouncing from specialist to specialist, searching for answers—until we found COEM.
For over 10 years, I had been seeing functional medicine doctors, trying to piece together what was causing my ongoing health struggles. While I learned a lot along the way, it wasn't until coming to COEM that we truly found the root cause of my issues. Dr. Elliott’s thorough and precise approach finally connected the dots and gave me the answers I had been searching for.
Not only has this clinic transformed my health, but it has also been life-changing for my husband and our three-year-old daughter, who were also exposed to mold. The level of care, precision, and dedication COEM provides is unparalleled. Dr. Elliott and his team take the time to uncover and treat the root causes of illness, rather than just managing symptoms, offering a truly holistic, patient-centered approach. Their expertise in environmental and functional medicine has given us hope, healing, and a path forward we never thought possible.
Beyond their exceptional medical expertise, the staff at COEM is incredibly kind, accommodating, and genuinely caring. They go above and beyond to ensure every patient—including children—feels heard, valued, and supported throughout their healing journey. The compassion and thoroughness they have shown in treating not just me, but also my husband and young daughter, have been invaluable to our family’s recovery.
This is truly one-of-a-kind healthcare, and we are beyond grateful for everything COEM has done for us. If you are considering seeking care here, it is absolutely worth paying out of pocket—this is what healthcare should be. Once you experience COEM, you will never go back to the traditional healthcare model or practice!

The worst service I have ever received. I scheduled and paid $550 for a one-hour telehealth consultation with Dr. Weirs, which, in reality, lasted no more than two minutes. During this brief interaction, no tests were conducted, and I received no new information. To clarify, I had already requested the tests that Dr. Weirs suggested.
Dr. Weirs informed me that I should submit my test results for his review, and he would provide further recommendations based on those results. I explicitly inquired whether this follow-up consultation would incur any additional charges, and Dr. Weirs assured me that it would not.
Upon receiving my test results, I promptly forwarded them to Dr. Weirs and requested an appointment to discuss them. However, just two minutes before the scheduled appointment, I received a call from this organzaition informing me that an additional charge of $280 would be applied for this consultation. I reiterated that I had been informed by Dr. Weirs that no additional charges would apply, and after being placed on hold for 25 minutes, I was offered an alternative solution: a 30-minute appointment for $180.
This situation is deeply concerning. Not only was I charged $550 for a two-minute consultation, but the agreement made with Dr. Weirs was not honored. Furthermore, the lack of transparency and the significant delay in communication added to my frustration.
Please avoid this organization unless you want to waste your money and your time.
