Carmella’s is worth a pit stop while on a downtown adventure! Conveniently located near one of the busiest walking spots in town, Carmella’s is a go-to walk-in eat spot for a quick bite, dessert, or beverage. A nice selection if items, however, I’m generally stopping by for sweets. We got an ice cream sandwich and a HUGE waffle dessert that was enough for multiple people. Definitely picture worthy. Can get busy, but given its location and casual, walk-in nature, this isn’t surprising. A reliable, go to spot when enjoying a day out.
I love the vibe. Classy, light and vintage. A wide variety of menu options. Delicious food. We had the pleasure of chatting with the manager who was so friendly and conversational. I loved that management hopped up to help staff BEFORE they got backed up. Everyone seemed generally friendly. Very cut spot with a parking deck conveniently right behind them. Also they had a water tap with ambient water, chilled and sparkling water!
Only a short walk from the Charleston Market. This little gem is the perfect place to satisfy any sweet tooth while exploring the heart of Charleston, SC. They had a fantastic selection of desert alcoholic concoctions plus coffee drinks. Most of their deserts were also Gluten free, which was nice. The cakes are alittle rich for my tastes but I adore their banana pudding. Pricing was pretty good considering how big their cakes portions were. Overall a very welcoming open space. Seating is limited especially on busy hours. However, if you do snag a spot, the warm decor and inviting atmosphere makes it the perfect hang out spot.
One of our favorite places downtown! The savory selection, desserts and drinks are all beautifully crafted and delicious! Service is always wonderful and the atmosphere is perfect!
Never have I ever went to a late night place where I have seen ranging from all ages, from every walk of life and Coffee, tea, cocktails, shakes, cakes, desserts, pizza in one place with iconic quality and electric vibe. ❤️🙏💯 We had the Tiramisu Shake Cocktail and tower of Carrot Cake
