Well this was an amazing experience.. I was in Charleston for a long weekend trip. It was not my first trip to Charleston, but it was my first experience with Burwell's. They did not disappoint. First we were welcomed right away, and the staff was super friendly. The manager even came over to check on us, and ensure everything was going well. Of course it was! Next and most importantly, the food.. MY GOD.. A+ Steak. I opted for the Ribeye, and it was cooked perfectly.. It was probably one of the best steaks I have ever had, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will be back for sure!
I’m not trying to hype this place up, but we had an amazing dinner here. The atmosphere was nice as well as the staff. The mashed potatoes were so good (the best I’ve ever had). I would come back just for it as a side item. Salads…good. Deviled eggs…good. Veggies, seafood, drinks & meat…mmmm good. I hope the photos speak volumes.
Found this place on a whim while staying in Charleston and made reservations after reading the reviews. I ordered the Wagyu hanger steak for dinner and the Holy City chocolate cake for dessert. This is one of the best dining experiences I've had. We were seated on time, our server, Josh, was incredible, and most importantly the food was amazing! I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. Make a reservation and check it out. You will not be disappointed!
We found resturant looking for a good steak came across Burwell's and we couldn't be more happier with the choice. The staff was 1st off the best, and the food followed up right behind it. From the salad to the dessert we were impressed and can not wait to come back and try something else.
By far, the best all around steak house in Charleston. The food is amazing, the service is amazing, and the atmosphere is amazing. Plan on dropping a little coin but it's worth it.
