The only place in Charleston that I've gone for a haircut in nearly six years of living here and it doesn't disappoint. Jocelyn is the BEST! She always gets it right and has a great personality to make it an enjoyable experience. Highy recommend!

Huge thanks to the apprentice for an amazing scissors haircut today and conversation — definitely best in class and ready for the exams in a few months - Buona fortuna, Powodzenia, Καλή τύχη!

I have been going here for years, before they started taking appointments. At that time I would walk in and get a barber pretty quickly. But lately it has gotten so popular that a walk in would take over an hour to be seated so I started scheduling appointments.
The time before last I had missed my appointment and was charged the full price, which is fair. Then the last time I went I had an appointment at 3pm and showed up at 2:55. I then waited in the waiting room until 3:30 without my name being called, at which point I just left. The whole time I waited my barber was cutting someone else’s hair so I have to imagine they took a walk in shortly before my appointment time. Multiple barbers made eye contact with me as I sat there alone in the waiting room, none of them asked me if I had an appointment or if I was waiting for someone in particular.
Although this was pretty frustrating I was willing to chalk it up to a mistake on a busy day. Except then I woke up the next day to see that I had been charged for the entire amount. For an appointment I had showed up for and they had missed. I realize that the barber’s time is valuable and they need people to show up for an appointment on time. But their customer’s time is also valuable and if I am expected to be on time for an appointment or be charged the full amount, then they should be expected to as well.
Also if this does happen to you and you want to contact them to refund your money, they don’t have a email address. So you’ll be forced to either call them during business hours or come to the shop in person and dispute a credit transaction done through a third party app to a busy barber in the middle of their shift for a service you never even received.

Highly recommend! Have been here twice now and received a great haircut from Trevis both times, who is also a great dude to chat with while getting a cut. I have gone in with a specific idea of the haircut I want, and got exactly what I was looking for each time with no issue. Good music playing and the waiting area is cool (in an older building on Broad). The online appointment system is super easy to use, and the shop has been timely to the minute with calling me back to get my haircut. Cash-only and maybe slightly more expensive (by a few bucks) than other walk-in only shops in town but def worth the difference.
