Nice little quaint place that serves NY style pizza slices at a reasonable price. Perfect for on the go while shopping and site seeing. Restaurant is small so, stopping in with 1 or 2 other people is suggested. There is window seating that is great location to sit, eat and watch. Definitely A location for college students.

The pizza was delicious! Nice thin crust, perfectly crispy. We tried the cheese, pepperoni and sausage, and the brown sugar bacon. The pieces really are incredibly large! Now, if I can only find a way to use that large box!!

If you’re paying with a card, be careful to watch for theft, and ask for a receipt! The card terminal is supposed to ask the customer if you want to tip, but instead I caught the employee adding a tip on his own. I wasn’t sure what he’d done, so I asked for a receipt, and after I left, I saw it there. 15% added without my consent.
I would have tipped anyway—but he has no right to help himself to a tip. Imagine if he’s doing this all night to everybody, thinking that drunk customers won’t notice. It could add up to thousands of dollars per week!
I called to speak to a manager, but one was not available. He might even be the manager, as Benny’s is a franchise company—so I’m reviewing because I’m not sure that anything will actually be done about this.
The food is fine for a quick late night slice, but I won’t ever pay with my card there again. I’m disputing the charges with my bank as soon as it clears.

Amazing pizza! Huge slices! Was gonna order two for myself until the lady told me how big they were! One slice is more than enough!! My girl got the chicken pesto slice which I had a few bites of, also amazing! Good price for what you get.
14 inch slice with no flop??? Good cheese, right amount of sauce, cooked well…
9.4/10! That’s a review!

Pretty good pizza shop in historic Charleston. Pizza slices are gigantic, I was impressed. Didn’t necessarily think the restaurants “TO-GO” method of packing the slices were up to par but nonetheless the pizza was good and I will go back.
