Dr. Spencer is great. He sees you as an individual not a statistic. I genuinely feel like he cares about me. His assistant, Dawson, is awesome too. He is always responsive and gets things done with a sense of urgency.

Angela is incredible. A true GEM. I've been doing TMS treatments with her and tomorrow is my last treatment and to be honest, it makes me sad even though I'll still see her around, just not 5 days a week anymore. She is so easy going and fun to be around. I've had some good laughs with her and her energy makes you feel comfortable from day 1 of treatment, whether it's TMS or Spravato. TMS is for major depression, but I believe she's brought the smiles to my face every time Ive seen her. I highly recommend her. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

I have been to many psyche offices but this was my best experience yet! I absolutely loved my visit at Barrier Island Psychiatry; it is so clean and beautiful inside, and the staff was incredible. Everyone was so kind, thoughtful and helpful. I was seen right away with no wait time as well and was in and out in an efficient matter. My psychiatrist, Jenny, made me cry happy tears by how validated, comfortable and seen she made me feel. I feel like I am truly going to get the help I have needed for years now and that is a miracle. I am very excited to continue my treatment here.
