I wanted an older house with some projects; The wife wanted new construction. Thomas was able to find us a great new construction option on the marsh so the wife wins. Being new construction, already mostly framed when we went under contract, I thought it would be smooth sailing and we'd be in our new house by late April. After COVID delays and problems with the builders, we finally closed 6 months later. Thankfully Thomas stuck with us the whole way and things turned out well in the end. Despite having plenty of other things to do, Thomas checked in with me almost daily as we worked through some tough situations with the builder. I'm super thankful for his dedication and plan to work with him again if/when we move the next time.

My husband and I retired in 2020 and decided to move out of the Washington DC area after living there most of our lives. Charleston ranked as one of our top destinations. Initally, several real estate agents showed us properties, however, their efforts failed to produce a home we liked.
During our search, I stumbled upon Thomas Davis' website, Abode. We were impressed with the property offerings and analysis of the Charleston area. Within 4 months of meeting Thomas, we placed a contract on a house in the Liberty Hill Farm Development located in Mount Pleasant.
We remained in DC while the townhome was being built. Thomas became our eyes and ears during the entire process and beyond. He would go over to the property at a moment's notice - provide us with video updates - and he was a strong advocate for us with the builder. His knowledge of Charleston helped us in many other ways as well.
On our move day -- a terrible experience due to our moving company selection - Thomas came over and carried 30 boxes into our house. No job too small for him!
Thomas Davis' key strengths include: knowledge of Charleston and the real estate market; his communications and commitment to clients; the Abode website - a nicely designed tool filled with great information on Charleston. Above all, Thomas is professional and easy to work with.
We highly recommend Thomas Davis as an agent you can trust and as someone who will work to find you a home that you love.

Thomas was incredible. We were moving from Colorado with a newborn baby and had so many moving parts. We couldn't have done it without his expertise, thorough knowledge of the area/market, and willingness to do anything and everything necessary to make sure we found the right home for our family, at the right price. Highly recommend!

We highly recommend working with Thomas as your realtor! He helped us search for the perfect home and assisted the whole way through the process of purchasing it. We felt like he was really looking out for our best interests, particularly when we were making an offer, so we didn't overpay just because the housing market is all over the place right now. His attention to details (both in the home and with the paperwork/closing process) was fantastic and we really valued having his expertise. He also has great connections for choosing the best inspectors and title company/lawyer for thorough work.
Thomas is such a friendly and caring person and certainly the best realtor we've ever worked with! We loved our experience with him and will be sure to use Abode Charleston for any future home purchases or sales!

Thomas was a great realtor to work with. We were not from the area so I was doing my research online before arriving. On our first trip to Charleston I felt we were given a good overview of the area and saw many homes on my list. Thomas educated us on floodplains, traffic, subdivisions and builders. We had to wait 6 months before returning due to Covid shutdown. During that time we watched the inventory with the ability to save our favorites on the website and see if they were still available. Website and weekly update emails were also educational on things to do in the area. Second trip we revisited our favorite areas and quickly made a decision. We still had a wait as we selected a house to be built. Thomas kept us up to date with some pictures and helped in the communication since we were still out of town. Thomas was super patient and we were lucky to have worked with him.
