Plenty of beer to choose from; if you can’t find a few that you like, maybe you don’t really like beer. We found more than a few that we enjoyed. We had an enjoyable dinner with our selections and found the atmosphere to be quite pleasant and inviting. We did go on a week night with no big sporting events so it was likely slower than normal.

Bay Street Biergarten is a nice place to get a lunch if you find yourself wandering around Charleston, South Carolina, on a nice sunny day. The patio has plenty of seating and a good-sized bar. The atmosphere was comfy, and the food was outstanding. On top of that, our server did a wonderful job taking care of us. We will be back when we visit Charleston again!!!

We got there right when it opened because the menu sounded interesting. They were setting up for Oktoberfest so kind of forgot about us here and there but overall good service. The food did not disappoint and did come out quick. The wedges, kielbasa pierogies, and pork belly burnt ends were so good. They seem to host alot of parties/ events so hopefully get to hit one next time were in town.

The outside was a perfect place to sit, shade and umbrellas covering the areas was accommodating enough. They also had fly fans for the table which I haven’t seen elsewhere before. The wait staff was very nice.
Stay outside to play some table tennis and cornhile as well.
The food was very tasty, and felt like the kitchen staff out there heart into it. Thanks!

We went to this restaurant for lunch because it was not crowded. Everything was salty, the Mac and cheese (which was noodles in cheese sauce) was not edible. We ordered a Caesar Salad, it was a stalk of Romain cut in half then grilled. It was very hard to cut up on the plate which was too small for the stalk. It is hard to put dressing on a stalk , and the chicken on top was too salty. Now, we know why it was not crowded.
