Captains Jen and Tanya are outstanding! I have spent my entire life on the water, but not until taking this course did I feel confident enough to take the helm. They teach in an engaging and supportive manner. I learned the essential skills I need to feel safe on the water, while laughing and having a great time with a great group of women! I HIGHLY recommend this course to anyone who wants to enjoy being on the water!
My wife and I have just completed two, 3 hour sessions with Bo Franklin. Bo was a fantastic instructor and we both learned a great deal all the while having great fun. Though I have been driving boats since the age of 14, my wife had never driven a boat. By the conclusion of our two sessions, she felt very comfortable driving the boat, performing various safety maneuvers and docking the boat. We would highly recommend this course to anyone.
Great experience with Captain Tanya today at the Longshore Ladies in Boating intro course (hosted at Longshore Marina)! Got the basics down, looking forward to the advanced course. Trustworthy and experienced. Passionate about boater safety and empowering female boaters to have confidence on the water. Highly recommend.
I have had the pleasure of working with both Captain Mike and Captain Tyler. I wanted to work on docking and going offshore. Both were patient and knowledgeable. I came away from Both sessions, learning something new , understanding boating conceptsand built and improved my confidence in my skills to operate my boat safely. I recommend them both highly!
Hi Vickie I took your first boating class in Charleston about one year ago. I followed thru with FBC out of the Grand Strand in Murrells Inlet. I have the use of 2022 pontoons, deckboats, fishing boats etc. i have been out every month except December. I have utilized everything that was taught in class and on the water. I am so happy that I am a very cautious and careful operator on the ICW and many of the tributaries. I have met many new friends and even was asked to show what I have learned to several boaters that were surprised as my operating my boats I even did an impressive hat overboard rescue wiry eight friends on board There are truly more inexperienced boaters than experienced. It was said in the class and in the harbor. Maybe we will catch up with you both on the water someday. Take care and boat safe Rich Drouin Pawleys Island
