I recently had the pleasure of visiting Wine and Company, and I can't say enough good things about it! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind with friends or enjoy a quiet evening. The staff truly stand out with their exceptional service; they are knowledgeable, passionate about wine, and incredibly welcoming. They took the time to recommend selections tailored to my taste, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The diverse wine list is impressive, featuring both classic gems and new-on-the-scene wines I hadn’t heard of before. If you're looking for a place that combines great wine with a friendly vibe, Wine and Company is a must-visit!
We stayed in Charleston for a week and went to Wine & Company twice because it was so great. During summer months (I imagine it gets busier in the fall/winter), if you want a really chill place to relax and have some phenomenal wine, this is the place. We had our toddler with us and they were super cool about it. Also, we appreciated the depth of knowledge of the staff. They REALLY know their stuff and take it seriously. At the same time, they are not stuffy or pretentious. Just good knowledge, people and wine. Thank you!
Selectively friendly. Guess it’s to be expected. I didn’t get the info on my first glass of Chardonnay. The second glass was Somm’s Choice served by someone else. Service isn’t consistent. Pretty disappointing. I was the only customer for a while. When a couple walked in, everyone just seemed a bit more friendly. Nice atmosphere. Not for everyone though.
Could not recommend Wine & Co. more! Tara walked us through a fantastic 2 hour wine tasting that was not only extremely fun but super educational. My friends and I came from Chicago for a bachelorette party, and could not recommend this experience more! The wine list was fantastic and I would recommend anyone planning a visit or night out in Charleston to visit here and enjoy this wonderful wine tasting!
Wine and Co stands out among the Charleston wine bar scene. The knowledgeable staff, selection of wine, and energetic feel make for one of the best hospitality experiences in the city. Wine and Co's Tuesday tastings are such a great time to drop in and learn about wine with friends or coworkers, and the staff is so welcoming, warm, and fun. Can't recommend this place enough!
