Salthouse was fantastic for our celebration - my parent's 60th wedding anniversary party! The process from start to finish was so smooth and Jacqueline was so helpful with decisions we needed to make as well as offering up some good ideas! Marisa and the team that came onsite were amazing, friendly and did a fantastic job with serving the passed appetizers, the buffet style dinner, cake cutting/serving and cleaning up! They didn't leave anything undone! The food was delicious! Highly recommend them! 😊

My husband’s 80th birthday party went beautifully, with much credit and high praise for Salthouse Catering. The last time I had planned such an event was our wedding reception over 40 years ago (!), so the full-service guidance and high-caliber professionalism of the staff was much needed and fully appreciated. Communication prior to the event was smooth, clear, and prompt. Pricing was transparent and straightforward. Coordination with the event rentals company was efficient. Every detail was thought through meticulously and executed just as planned. The staff on hand at the event itself were top notch. I, the hostess was able to enjoy myself and my guests, and to focus on truly celebrating my husband. But what attracted us to begin with was the food, of course. For this afternoon event for 50, we had two displays —-both so good! ——and four wonderful passed appetizers, as well as beverages. I was so impressed at how the chefs and back of house crew came in to a kitchen they’d never seen before and made the magic happen! Total pros. Everything was delicious and everyone was happy. I would recommend Salthouse Catering most enthusiastically to anyone planning an event in this area.
We couldn’t be more thrilled with Salthouse Catering for our wedding! From start to finish, their service was exceptional. The food was absolutely incredible—each dish was crafted to perfection, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. The bar service was equally impressive. The bartenders were professional, friendly, and attentive, creating a fantastic atmosphere while keeping the drinks flowing all night. Only complaint was the bar staff were talking and laughing during the wedding ceremony which was distracting. Salthouse Catering made our special day even better, delivering both exceptional food and seamless service. We highly recommend them for any event—our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without them!
We worked with Salthouse for our wedding at Alhambra Hall. Jacqueline French was our main point of contact and she was awesome! Throughout the planning process she was extremely prompt with communications and after our tasting there was no doubt in our minds about selecting them for our wedding reception. We also appreciated that they were familiar with our venue since it does not have a full kitchen. We felt confident in their plan to bring a mobile kitchen and the day of I honestly would have never known! The food, the staff, and the service thoroughly exceeded our expectations. My #1 item when planning our wedding was to have incredible and memorable food, especially since the majority of our guests were coming from out of town. We heard rave reviews throughout the night, and even two months later are still hearing compliments about the food at our wedding. We so appreciate Salthouse's professionalism and culinary talent. It was also a nice surprise to receive a box of mini desserts after our wedding because we did not have a chance to have any the night of! We definitely recommend Salthouse to anyone looking for amazing food for their wedding!
